Heartbreak and dating in durban?

Hi All.

I have recently come out of a 4 year relationship and prior to that a 13 year relationship. The 13 year relationship ended on a good note while the 4 year relationship ended with me being betrayed by my partner. . for some context, I am a male, indian, 36 years of age.

Its been 6 months or so since being single, I have no kids, my own place, good job, well educated, learning to cook, have hobbies and go to gym.. I'm about average looking too.

I'm finding it hard to date anyone or even find anyone to even talk too that could even remotely turn into something.

Is there anyone out there that has been or going through the same thing??

I am wondering if its just me or is there something more to it.

Now that I am single, doing things alone is weird but its also been refreshing.

I find myself feeling like a fish out of water when it comes to trying to date or talk to someone as I've forgotten what the process is like..

Any advice or people going through the same?
