Built a free tool to help Canadian filmmakers find grants/funding and looking for feedback
Hey everyone,
I'm a Vancouver based filmmaker and actor, and over the past few months I've been working on a project called GetGreenlit.
One thing that always frustrates me is how difficult it is to figure out which grants are actually relevant to your project. There are dozens of programs across Canada, all with different eligibility requirements, deadlines, and application processes.
So I built a platform designed to help Canadian filmmakers discover grants and funding opportunities that fit their projects. All you have to do is create an account, enter your project type, budget, and a few other details, and you'll be matched with the best funding opportunities that fit your project. And it’s totally free to use.
We just launched this week and I'm looking for feedback from other filmmakers.
