My ballet teacher would hate this

I literally just got out of class when I saw this photo, so I had to rant for a second. I'm really tired of people posing with pointe shoes on when they're clearly not trained to do so. It takes years for most dancers to get the privilege, and some don't due to how dangerous it can be. If you're going to pose with pointe shoes, at least tie them properly and fix your posture. This is super petty I know but it's really bothering me because ballet is so intricate and purposeful, and I'm tired of seeing just anyone put on a pair of pointe shoes to cosplay being a ballerina when it's obvious they have had little to no training in ballet

Thank you

I just wanted to express my gratitude for this sub because up until this summer, I was absolutely terrified of wasps. I made a realization when this summer started that I've had a family of wasps living in my awning that have come back 4 years in a row. At first, I thought they were just tolerating me. When I'd go outside and the wasps were out and about, I ran in and out as quickly as possible. But after spending time observing them, I came to the conclusion that they don't view me as a threat and feel it is safe to nest by my living space.

I did some Googling to get some rudimentary information about wasps, and it led me to this sub. I learned that not only do they tolerate me, they recognize me??? I thought that was amazing. After reading about how and why wasps are so important to our ecosystem, I became an admirer. While I'm not at the stage of letting them crawl on me yet, I feel a lot calmer and intrigued when I watch them forage for food or build their nests.

This sub has taught me a lot about wasps and how beautiful and magnificent they are. They aren't these viscous assholes with wings that people make them out to be. They're just trying to survive and protect themselves. For example, I was reading comment threads about how certain species of wasps get more aggressively defensive this time of year because they're running out of food. I know I can't reverse the inevitable, but I felt like I should find out how I can help them.

I put out a shallow dish of diluted honey in an accessible spot for them. I also put in some stones and small twigs to give them landing spots for them to drink. I hope I'm able to help them out even a little bit. Any other tips on how to safely feed them would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway I apologize for the novel; I just wanted to express my gratitude and that this sub has completely changed my perspective on wasps. I'm looking forward to learning more.

Can anyone provide an ID?

Google lens identified it as a European hornet, but it's wrong sometimes so I thought I'd ask this sub.

Also I have no idea how it got into the fire pit, but I moved the lid back a little so it can find a way out of there.

I've been watching from afar to see if the little guy can figure it out. It's kind of adorable; it's like watching someone try to get out of an escape room.

Ugh, not health advice from Bryan Johnson again

Does she not realize that she can Google ways to improve bone density health and go to a doctor to make a personalized plan? I know getting older is scary and women's health isn't taken as seriously, but come on Claire. Also eating egg shells sounds terrible.

Is she soft launching an Apple collab?

Hopefully screenshots of X are ok; don't wanna give fElon anything if I can avoid it. But here is another example of Claire manically over sharing, over promising, and just saying a whole lot of nothing.

Making masters that are specifically designed to sound better on iPhones is crazy to me. Am I the only one who thinks this is a possible attempt to get Apple's endorsement?

Also take a shot any time Claire tries to use "I'm an artist" to shield herself from any backlash
