Anyone keeping up with the current drama with The Jumper Punch blokey blokes? Got Respect round just around the corner and we see stuff like this. They're like the 'Bounce' equivalent of fan channels.
I heard that Unifi APs (6+) have a bit of a dodge LED light, but I didn't realise it was this bad. The bottom AP has been running for 8 months, while the top has only just been powered up. Didn't expect that amount of fade in that period of time. Meanwhile my NVIDIA Shield has been running non-stop since 2018 and its LED looks the same (green led superiority). I am now keeping my AP LEDs powered off for good.
Tonight I've finally reboxed my Lian Li PC-P80B (2008) and PC-P80N (2011). They've served me so well, and have seen a lot of builds, from Core 2 Duo/4870X2, i5 2500k/7970ghz, 1080, various Ryzens, to 5800X3D/9070XT. The 80B had served as my DAS/router in recent years (using Silverstone FS305B-12G enclosures), with all case fans replaced with Noctuas in 2020.
I've now moved to a full rack mount setup. My gaming rig is in a Silverstone RM52 and my server is in a RM61-312. If it wasn't for my move to a rack mount, I'd happily have kept using these P80s for years to come.
Excuse my pathetic attempt to show scale with a wonky banana and a can of coke, lol. I was working next to the kitchen, and they were within arm reach.
