Is there anything I can do about my family tax benefit being significantly reduced when the child support assessment has increased? The child support I actually receive is either sporadic or less than what I am supposed to receive. I am owed over $5,000 in child support. I live fortnight to fortnight and I am struggling with the reduced family tax benefit that I now receive. I don't normally care about the child support as I am so used to not receiving much, but now that it affects my other centrelink payments I am struggling.
