Hey there! This was my first time heat infusing my floral base oil. I normally do the solar infusion method, but was out of my body and face oil and wanted to try out the heat method. I infused this 2 days ago, and was going to make my body oil today, but noticed a cloudiness overall in the oil and a residue at the bottom of the jar. I followed all or the steps, but did not have a heat thermometer, and just heated on lowest setting on my gas stove.

I transferred the oil into another jar and left most of the residue out, but think it is overall in the oil because of the cloudiness. It smells great, even more infused with lavender than when I have solar infused, and doesn’t smell off at all. Is this normal and safe to use and if not is there something I can do to fix it?
