I was thinking of applying for next Fall, but my overall impression of the campus is that it's not so pretty, and not very active campus life as well. My UG college did not have any campus life and was not pretty as well, so I'm looking for that factor as well. Can current attendees shed some light on that?

1 LOR is from the professor with whom I worked on the research paper, one from my director at work. I need help in setting expectations about what unis I can target- are Unis like USC, UCs, NYU, Columbia, CU Boulder, UMass Amherst, Purdue, Stony Brook within my reach? If not please suggest some reputed unis with good MSCS programs.
