yunnan, china

i spent 7 days in Lijiang, Lugu lake, and Dali in Yunnan province, China. i was able to forget the rest of the world a bit and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Yulong snow mountain and Lijiang ancient city. i highly recommend Yunnan if you appreciate natural landscape and ancient building scene (although a bit commercial nowadays) and lmk if you need any travel recommendations!

feature request

hi u/alexfoxy

in this presets manage view, do you mind adding:

  1. tap icon to load preset
  2. search preset feature

i think these 2 features can speed up preset finding significantly

thanks!

what do you think of these 2 archival/vintage presets?

- ambre et poussière - puts a warm brown cast over everything — the kind of color you’d find in an old photo, not instagram vintage. shadows go dark but not dead. grain shows up without taking over. it likes neutral-lit scenes and organic surfaces. give it too much artificial warmth and it compounds; give it the right light and it looks like it was always meant to be that way.

- encre et lait - drops the color entirely. blacks get heavy, bright areas hold without blowing, and there’s a grittiness to the grain that feels less like a filter and more like actual film. it handles contrast well — backlight, harsh shadows, wide tonal range. one is about mood, the other is about structure.

i took around 100 pics to get to these “final” looks and vibe.
