New to NoFusion — need some solid LUT recommendations

pretty much get how the app works at this point, just need some actual good LUTs and settings from people who know what they're doing.

what LUT packs are you all using? free ones that are actually worth it or should I just pay for a proper pack from the start?

also curious what your capture settings look like day to day, exposure comp, ProRAW or not, stuff like that.

if anyone's got a simple workflow they don't mind sharing (shoot with X settings, apply Y LUT, tweak Z after) that would honestly save me so much trial and error.

trying to get that punchy natural look without spending an hour editing every single shot. seen some really good stuff on here so any tips or "wish I knew this earlier" advice is welcome, thanks 🙏

yunnan, china

i spent 7 days in Lijiang, Lugu lake, and Dali in Yunnan province, China. i was able to forget the rest of the world a bit and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Yulong snow mountain and Lijiang ancient city. i highly recommend Yunnan if you appreciate natural landscape and ancient building scene (although a bit commercial nowadays) and lmk if you need any travel recommendations!

Faster photo capture

I would like to thank and congratulate the developer for implementing the ability to take multiple photos in a row without having to wait for processing to finish 👏🏼 Tags for the LUTs have also been implemented, but I think I spotted a bug (or perhaps I misunderstood the function). On the main screen, the button meant to indicate and separate the filters based on tags isn't working. Available in the Beta version.

Looking forward to the batch RAW-to-film-negative conversion feature.

1 month with No Fusion

Since I watched a review about No Fusion app, I’ve been very happy with its results. Been a novice in the world of photography, I’m gradually getting a hang of it and it’s birthed a photography passion in me, that I am looking forward to creating a zine.

I would be happy to answer any questions regarding these photos. Anyone who would be kind enough to walk me through creating a zine would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone else interested in feature to add (white) border?

Like the title says anyone else interested in this feature? Currently I have to export to LR just to add a white border.. i I would love to be able to do all these type of edits within nofusion.

June traditions in Ceará, Brazil

I live in the state of Ceará, in northeastern Brazil, where Festa Junina is still one of the most important traditions of the year. Throughout June, families and friends gather to light bonfires, enjoy traditional food, and decorate the streets with colorful flags.

These photos were taken during the last bonfire gathering of the month. Since the FIFA World Cup is also taking place, Brazilian flags became part of the decorations alongside the traditional Festa Junina flags. I thought it would be a great opportunity to capture this unique atmosphere and share a small part of my region’s culture.

Core Image RAW 9 in iOS 27

In iOS 27 beta, Apple introduced a major update to its raw image processing engine with Core Image RAW 9. This is the most significant overhaul since 2017, designed to deliver much sharper and more defined images during editing.
This new process relies on several technical advancements:
- AI-Assisted Noise Reduction: The new model uses machine learning via Apple's Neural Engine. Instead of artificially smoothing pixels (which destroyed fine details), the engine has learned to distinguish the image signal (the details) from digital noise, allowing it to replace the latter with a much more natural texture.
- Demosaicing Integration: The algorithm for converting raw sensor data into a color image is now a tiled CoreML model, which combines demosaicing and noise reduction simultaneously for optimal quality.
- Third-Party Apps: This pipeline change is not visible in the native Photos app. It is primarily made available to developers via the Core Image API, for use in third-party applications (such as NoFusion).

Has anyone had the chance to test this new process on iOS 27 beta? I'm curious to know if there will be a noticeable visual difference when processing Bayer RAW files on iPhone.

And I'm also wondering what the impact will be on the NoFusion app.

App freezes and locks up iPhone

First off, I want to state that I absolutely love this app. I’ve tried dozens and dozens of apps and nofusion wins hands down in terms of UI and image output. However I’ve had not infrequent instances where I launch the app (double press on the side action button, iPhone 16 pro max) and my phone just freezes- the nofusion app doesn’t respond and my entire iPhone is frozen. I have to wait several minutes just to get to my Home Screen and I can then dismiss the nofusion app and relaunch. So frustrating.

I love everything about this app except for the unreliability. I’ve missed many shots and because of this freezing issue I’ve again started looking for a dedicated point and shot like my old Ricoh GR that produced very similar images to nofusion.

Anyone else encounter this? Any insight into what causes it?

Greece Through the Lens – iPhone 17 Pro Max + Fusion (No Fusion)
