Hello! Just looking for some help and maybe suggestions with how you manage pain. I have highlighted in red where I have the most pain. (Burning, sharp, stabbing, tenderness) The pain on my back I guess would be considered right trap. It spasms a lot too.
Right now the area between my shoulder blade on my right side hurts the most and is constant. I do have pins and needles going down the inside of my arm and into my pinky and ring finger. The numbness i can feel on the inside and backside of my forearm. A heavy feeling sometimes in my forearm and hand. For me
Symptoms are super hard to put into words.
I have gone to the chiropractor for weeks and that has not helped at all. I have a consult with my neurologist for an EMG July 6th.
I know i have bad posture and my neck has lost some of its natural curvature. Usually if I have had a flare with my symptoms id go to the chiropractor and after two visits or so my symptoms would calm down. It has been two months and nothing has helped. I also sleep on my right side. Sleeping on my left side exacerbates the numbness and tingling in my fingers and then my shoulder will roll forward and then that pain is excruciating. So I'll either roll back onto my right side or try to fall asleep on my back which is hard for me. I have been using biofreeze, solonpas with and without lidocaine, and ibuprofen to manage my pain, as well as a heating pad (this is all for my pain that radiates to my back). My neck is always stiff. I tried even a firmer pillow to see if that helps any. I think it help minimally. If im sitting on the couch supporting my right arm does help a lot and also sleeping on my left side and having my right arm straight out in front of me with a pillow under sometimes is doable.
I work inpatient as a phlebotomist so having this constant pain has been really hard and once I get home I just want to sit to try to ease the symptoms.
Ask any questions you have. I just want to know if anyone else has similar symptoms. I've read quite a few posts and I seem to share a lot.
