F4M Complicated situation with love and work
I'm 25, Black, African, educated, and doing everything I can to build a career for myself. I have a degree, and I'm working hard to create opportunities through business consulting, research, and systems development because finding stable work hasn't been easy.
At the same time, I'm hoping to find real love. I don't want a relationship because I need someone to pay my bills I want a partner because I genuinely want to love and be loved. I also want to be financially independent so the responsibility of providing doesn't fall entirely on him.
Right now, I'm in that difficult space where I'm searching for both meaningful work and a meaningful relationship. It's not easy, but I'm still hopeful that with time, both will come.
The other thing is I find myself attracted to older white men which is very unusual where I come from and I can't break out of my shell because I am afraid that the society will judge me (she is with him for money) type of thing.
Any advice for me?
I HAVE COME HERE LOOKING FOR A RELATIONSHIP BEFORE AND IT DIDN'T WORK!!
