How did Eastern Germanic Tribes differ from Western Germanic Tribes, in regards to culture, religion, society (pre conversion to Christianity)?
reddit.comI understand that culture changed a lot in that time period, but there is this believe that ancient romans were quiet, stoic and more introverted. On the other hand the stereotype of modern day italians is emotional, very warm and loud. I am currious how different the inhabitants of rome and the area would be in temper and behavior. I on purpose choose this wording, simce of course the definition of who is a roman changed over centuries and different parts of Italy had various influences and differences. Hence I would like to concentrate solely on the area of Rome and Lazio. I am aware there are many stereotypes of ancient romans, but I am still curious how they would compare to modern day Italians in the region.
