In Ear Monitor for Hiby R1

Hi all,

What would you recommend as a good pair of in-ear monitors for use of my HiBy R1, with a budget of around max $40?

I came across the Linsoul 7Hz Zero:2, but I'm not sure if they're a good choice for a beginner.
I'm using now JBL T110 and Sony BT WI-C100

I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Innioasis Y2 vs HiBy R1, Which Would You Choose as main device?

Today I received the Y2. It looks amazing, and the sound quality is good, although not quite as good as the HiBy R1.

Now I need to decide whether to use the Y2 or the R1 as my main device.

I listen to both music and audiobooks. The HiBy R1 does not officially have a dedicated tab or app for audiobooks, so I installed a custom firmware version. The Y2, on the other hand, has an official Audiobooks tab and supports bookmarks, which the HiBy R1 does not have.

Sadly, there were no earphones included in the box. The information on their website is incorrect, so I emailed them about it. I'll see what they have to say.

Can’t Wait for My Innioasis Y2

Can’t wait until my Innioasis Y2 arrives.
It’s sad to hear that some people are already disappointed with the specifications. Officially, there still isn’t much information about the full hardware and features.

Personally, I think the Y2 is simply an updated version of the Y1 without the FM radio, and that’s about it. The price difference between Y1 and Y2 is only a few bucks.

Yes, they are using older hardware, and it’s a bit expensive when you compare it to the Hiby R1, which offers more features and uses a newer DAC chip.

As far as I can tell, the DAC is only used when you connect headphones through the 3.5 mm AUX output. When you use Bluetooth, the DAC is generally bypassed because the Bluetooth
headphones use their own built-in DAC.

We’ll see once it’s delivered. I received my tracking number last night, can’t wait.
