Random frame drops and stuttering whenever ReShade is installed (RE4 2023)

I had already posted this issue before, however, I've now captured a few videos detailing the exact phenomena and settings. I'll detail my issues again.

So, I can normally run Resident Evil 4 (2023) at a stable 96fps, however, the game looks like crap due to the poor vanilla configuration for HDR. So I decided to install ReShade and RenoDX to hopefully make the games tonemapping a little better.

However, the moment I installed ReShade, I started experiencing constant frame drops, even when no shaders or add-ons are enabled. I am currently using ReShade 6.7.3 with add-on support. I've attached videos of RE4 with, and without ReShade, any help is appreciated.

Constant stuttering on Resident Evil 4: Remake

As the title states, for some reason, REMake 4 starts to have these awful stutters every two seconds (framerate drops from the 96fps cap down to 60fps or lower for a moment) or so ONLY when ReShade is installed. Doesn't matter if I have any add-ons or not, the simple presence of ReShade makes the game stutter.

I used ReShade on REMake 2, and I had no problems there, but for some reason on RE4 specifically it stutters consistently. Any suggestions or ideas why this may be happening? Thanks in advance.

Does this game have difficulty adjustment?

By difficulty adjustment, I mean, does the game keep tabs on how you play and perform and adjust encounters based on that? (Like some of the Resident Evil games where enemies gain more health, deal more damage and so on the better you play).

Now, I know this game is probably nowhere near advanced enough to contemplate difficulty adjustment and stuff, but I swear, the game feels like it senses when I play better. I usually like to play it very risky, near-maxing out my risk meter to gain the most amount of mood and EXP when returning to the apartment, and I find myself finding dangerous door encounters much more frequently and enemies having much, much higher attack rolls than they otherwise would. Is there some sort of DA or is this simply poor luck?

Is this enemy supposed to be so strong?

So, I was playing and I had forgotten to save before going to sleep, so, I went about the day as usual, I had made huge progress the night before, retrieving 4 disks and returning Fredrick’s face in one go, so, a lot on the line. I hear a knock, go and answer and it’s Hobbs, cursed Hobbs. I figure “ehh, I’m rather powerful, this shouldn’t be too bad”, or that’s what I thought before THIS STUPID RAMEN CENTIPEDE PROCEEDS TO TWO TAP JOEL WITH TWO 50+ DAMAGE ATTACKS, ONE TAP SOPHIE (unsurprising tbh) AND ONE TAP MY MC DEALING ~150 DAMAGE, ALL WHILE TANKING, WHAT SEEMED TO ME, EASILY OVER 200-300 DAMAGE. HOW?! WHY? IT’S A RANDOM ENCOUNTER!

I’m more than a little tilted, and the save mishap was my fault, I’m simply stunned that some random encounter DESTROYED my party in three attacks.
