"Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, 15 December 2024"
This is not a recent recording. It dates from late 2024 and is now nearly two years old. Nevertheless, it remains well worth revisiting because of the unusual clarity of the footage, the sustained observation and the comparatively distinct arrangement of lights visible as the object passes through the frame.
The recording captures a remarkably clear triangular-looking UAP moving across the night sky near Parque Barigüi in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, on 15 December 2024 at approximately 8:00 PM.
The camera operator has never been publicly identified. According to Paraná Drone, the footage was submitted directly by one of its followers, who requested complete anonymity. Brazilian outlet Ovniologia subsequently contacted Paraná Drone and reported receiving the original footage that had been supplied by the witness.
The earliest traceable first-generation source is Paraná Drone, which had received the footage directly from the anonymous witness and had it in public circulation by 17 December 2024.
There are important limitations to the case. The witness did not provide further identifying information, the exact viewing direction is unknown, and no original-file metadata has been made publicly available. Conventional possibilities including an aircraft or an illuminated drone have subsequently been suggested, but neither has been conclusively demonstrated from the available evidence.
For that reason, the object should remain classified simply as a UAP, rather than being attributed to any specific type of craft.
