I have become completely obsessed with HR, and I have dedicated my phone to the show. It has me in a choke hold!

As you can see, I have images (left is just an image, right is link to my Kindle app and the little teardrop shape is my link to my AO3 bookmarks!), backgrounds, and quotes.

This is where you come in.

I'm stuck at work and would like to fill my quotes when I finish being stuck in this building!

Just for clarification: at KMart in NZ
So I recently bought this as my previous alarm clock was failing and I thought it would be nice on my bedside table. My problem is the display brightness: the instructions say to touch between the two alarm clock icons to set the display brightness (second pic).

This. Does. Not. Work! Nothing happens, I've swiped up, down, left, right, tapped all over the screen and above and below, double tapped, pressed hard, everything! Nothing works, and it's like a goddamned lighthouse beacon in my room.

Anybody have any clue as to where I'm supposed to touch to dim the damn thing?
Any help would be MUCH appreciated!
