Quick costco meals

I know its sorta been asked before but ive been so busy with work lately but im trying to eat healthy and cut out junk food. Tell me quick meals you make with things from Costco that are freezer or shelf stable.

Like the other day I just threw the organic sheet pan veggies (broccoli, Brussels, zucchini, red onion, sweet potato mix) and amylu chicken dogs in the oven and cooked while i showered.

Or

Sous vide beef with broccoli, Japanese bbq sauce and egg noodles.

Idk more ideas like this would be helpful or quick your favorite quick snacks like beef/chicken sticks, protein shakes, yogurt drinks, ect

Can you reuse store bough brine?

My dad loves bubbies fermented pickles. I recently made a batch that turned out pretty good. We are growing our own cucunbers, hopefully ready soon. Im curious if he buy bubbies fermented pickles can he just put fresh cucumbers into the jar and leave it out of the fridge for 7+ days and then put it back in the fridge once they're done? Will that work?

Included some of my recent ferments for tax

So im trying to get back into making soda by fermenting juice with whey. I used to do homemade lemonade in a large swing top beverage dispenser which is stupidly got ride of. Now im using 64 and 32oz mason jars. My question is shoyld i use regular metal or plastic lids? Im nervous about them exploding. Should I leave the lids a little loose? Thanks guys

I am trying to get back into fermenting. We have a garden with Jalapeño, banana, and bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, carrots, garlic. Last year we made a hot sauce that was good. I just bought a set of pickle pipes and glass weights.

5 years ago I was also making fermented lemonade (using whey and wellness mama recipe) in a large glass pop top jar which i lost in a move. My question is if I make fermented soda using 64oz mason jars should I use plastic, metal or pickle pipe lids to burp them or will that make it go flat? Thanks guys.

Sorry thats a terrible title.

Im looking for

Community gardens i can get involved with, help out, learn from

Clean ups

Basically want to give back to the community and the earth

Also ive spent too much money on garden already this year so any free resources like wood chips or compost? Ive already been stealing people's yardwaste but let me know if you know of any places that you get free organic materials from

Also any places that teach good preservation. Ive done classes at the canning center through uf extension and like that.

Thanks everyone

  1. People who have used this, pros, cons, tips?

  2. I see it keeps chickens warm in the summer, will it caught heat problems in the summer in Florida?

  3. how often do you do a deep clean. How often and how much do you add? Can you use free wood chips from the companies that chop down trees or does it need to be specifically shaving?

  4. when you do the deep clean, do you add it directly to your garden or do you put it in the composter and for long? Can you use vermiculture

  5. does road noise bother chickens? We live right next to a 45mph (but people drive up to 60) road that is less than 10 feet from the fence

  6. any other info you think is important?

I dont have chickens yet, I want to do all the research and be prepared.

I plan to get 4 or 5 hens (only allowed up two 5, no roosters in my area), ans have a 5x5 coop with a 5x20-25 run. The run would be on 'grass' i know the grass will get ruined (its mostly weeds anyway). Can I used the deep litter method on top of dirt/grass or do I need to do cement or or something?

Thanks in advance everyone

Ps added a photo of where I plan to put my coop the area between the trees and fence is 6 feet.
