Ghosted because of genital herpes
I’ve been talking to a guy for about 2 years now but it’s been on and off. We haven’t officially dated but have had a sexual relationship. I texted him tonight telling him that I think I have herpes. I believe it came from him because he’s the only one I’ve had sex with for about 10 months now. My test results showed negative for herpes but I have been having symptoms for a week now. So I think I’ve been recently exposed to the virus.
This is our text thread (sorry for the profanity) 😭 I wasn’t expecting his reaction but I’m not surprised since it’s concerning a std. I just feel hurt right now because I’ve really been liking him for a while. I was hoping for a relationship one day because the past couple of years he’s been working on himself and getting his life together but now it looks like that’s out the window 😕. He has exposed me to other STDs in the past but we continued to talk. I feel dumb typing this because I know I should have moved on the first time I caught something from him. Idk… I’m just venting. Should I believe him that I’ve been the only he’s been having sex with?
