Avion to avios points

I’m new to figuring out how to get the best out of my points and saw the recent 30% deal with BA just passed. Is there any chance there will be another one this year? I think i’d be able to get up to around 130,000 avios points. Im not really looking to fly business just hoping for 2 economy yvr to lhr to be covered for next may.

Anyone else have my pmos?

I have been on birth control for 8.5 years. I’ve only had a natural cycle from age 13-16 and went on birth control at 16. I got off of it last year in August and didn’t get a period for months. By the time I did they were still off and inconsistent. I go to a gyne do some tests and apparently i have pmos. My only lab value that stood out was a high amh along with inconsistent cycles. All other blood work with androgens testosterone a1c was all completely fine.

All my gyne said was its good I have a high ovarian reserve, cut out simple carbs, and call me if u don’t get a cycle for 3-6 months and we can try some pills i think letrozole to make me ovulate. I’m going to start ovasitol from my own research to try and regulate myself but like should I be worried or am I fine based on my labs. I feel like everyone has all these symptoms and things in their bloodwork but I don’t. I just don’t know how to feel about this diagnosis.

BC LSAP Application

Hey guys, I’m looking for any advice if you’ve been in a similar situation. I submitted my LSAP application on June 11th and as per the BC law Society;

Applications will be reviewed within 10 business days upon receipt of payment (including GST). You will be contacted if additional information is required or if your application can proceed to the next stage of the process. The total processing time may take up to 30 days, or longer if there are additional requirements or if review by the Credentials Committee is needed. You will be notified in writing when your application is approved. It is highly recommended that you submit your application at least 30 days before your proposed call date/return-to-practice date. Please note that Law Society Admission Program (LSAP) applicants must submit their applications no later than 30 days before their desired enrollment start date in the LSAP.

A day after I submitted my application, I had some gaps in my work history that I corrected after being contacted by the office. I didn’t hear back for another two weeks so I decided to follow up as I wanted to double check if there were any other issues that needed correction. I didn’t receive a response for. A week and a half and decided to reach out to see who was handling my file. Unfortunately, this woman was very upset that I requested an update from the general office and did not reply to any of my questions in regard to what happens if my application isn’t approved by the date that I would like to start my articling.

The only thing she replied was that she would let me know by the end of the week, which was just this past Friday on July 10 which marked nearly 30 days since my submission. When it was 3 PM and I didn’t have any update I decided to contact the office as my expected articling start date is today, Monday, July 13th to which she sent another passive aggressive email essentially saying it’ll take as long as it takes.

The working day is now over for July 13 and today was supposed to be the day that I was going to start my articling, but I don’t understand why my application is taking a long time to review nor am I getting any updates clarifying what’s limiting them from approving my application after having it for over 30 days. I’m growing more and more anxious as the lawyer I’m articling for is eager to have a student star ASAP and it is hard enough getting a articling position in itself and I really just don’t want to lose this position over processing time when I did submit my application with enough time to start on my intended start date. This person at the office does seem to be from the credentials committee but I genuinely wouldn’t see a reason why my application would need an extra review. Has anybody experienced this before? Do you have any advice on what I should do or how long it took you to get approved?
