Can we get meat pies?

Don't know if they were around back in medieval times, but I assume they were? Baker extensions could use 2 sausage and 1 flour to make a meat pie.

I don't know what it is about farming in this game that makes me so happy, but it just does.

( read this in your head with Tommy Lee Jones' accent from The Fugitive) I love having a dedicated farming region that supports my main region and gets rich from sellin' all the goods that are packstation'd in. It makes my brain feel tingly and warm. With this 16 1xmorgan setup, I do 5 barley, 4 wheat, 4 rye, 2 oat, 1 flax every year. Current predicted harvest is 375 barley, 175 rye, 127 wheat, 159 oat, 96 flax. It takes 4 fully staffed farm houses to manage all that harvest in one month but it works like a clock. Just claimed another fertile region, gonna do an identical setup which should net me, oh lets say 750 barley, 350 rye, 250 huhwheat, 300 oats and 200 flax every year.

How to build a walled city.

I was replying to someone and figured id post my reply to the community. its a basic 8 step guide.

Step 1: build granary, storehouse, logging camp, sawpit, firewood lodge, whatever food gathering facilities you need, 5 single family homes (with no extensions). Step 2: focus on getting necessary resources to build manor and lots of extra planks. Step 3: build manor Step 4: create perimeter road of the area you want to enclose. Step 5: open castle planner. Layout your walls and gates just outside of your perimeter road. The extra planks from Step 2 will come in handy because you can layout longer sections at a time. Upgrade from wood to stone. Close castle planner. Step 6: repeat Step 1 inside of your perimeter road. As a new house gets built, destroy an existing house and the residents will move right in to the available house. Repeat this until all original houses are destroyed. Step 7: assign workers to new granary. Limit work area to a small circle over the original granary. Destroy it. Workers will focus on getting those resources collected. Repeat process for storehouse. Destroy all original buildings inside of your perimeter because they won't be accessible once wall is built. Step 8: build your town while collecting resources for wall build. You can check how much stuff you need by opening the castle planner, it'll say resources required. Once your town is up and running, and you have all the resources for the wall, hit the commit button.

I recommend saving before you commit to the build because once you commit, you cannot change anything in the town. You can upgrade houses and set production limits and all that stuff but you cant add a market or add a new building. After you commit, create another save then load that save. The whole area will just be "manor" and you'll think you did something wrong, but it usually just takes a save/load to get it so you can click on everything. Thats it in a nutshell.
