Bonjour! Pourquois qu’on dit <sur> dans cette phrase en place de <à>? I am watching the Tour de France and this was written on some of the coverage - I cannot sort out why “sur” here because I’ve not seen that before as a Canadian Anglo with some francophone roots (clearly not great at French but try to keep up the little I have and trying to grow it). I appreciate your help!

Just a heads up that around 9:30 Thursday night I heard a dog or coyote going feral on some poor animal. Was complete with nightmare-like vicious growling. I tried to call bylaw but they never answered after being on hold “first in line” for 25 mins. Called animal control but they said it was a 311 call. So, maybe keep your cats inside and your wits about you outside tonight if you’re in the general area
