How would the lein hold apply if I didn’t have an attorney?

Dumb waiting for claims that never existed from 50 years ago

Just so annoying.. months and months… I imagine there is a portal that zipleins logs into and does a search.. not actually calling Medicare and asking about 1 person.. getting the info, then hanging up and calling in again

The trust should of had this process going during the original claim process

And for Facebook, Yes they settled for a bunch of $$ but it’s not going to individual people, it’s going to the states.. I can only imagine for paying for billboards and public service commercials and big fat bonuses for the attorney generals..

Like the most of us, I’ve been in the process since 2020 Why now, is it taking 3-6 months to process the lein research ?

Would it make sense for all this to be done during the 6 years ? Why make me wait more ?

My abuse happened over 50 years ago No dr at all that I saw As I didn’t even tell anyone till I was 16

My law office said they are going thru zipliens.. and blamed Elon Musk for layoffs at Medicare/Medicade I never had insurance thru them growing up

I called my attorney, shortly after I saw the “payment made”

When I called They said they are waiting on the lien report.. it was a Friday afternoon .. and said thank you and hung up ..

All that weekend all the things I thought of was “if there was a lien, the trust would hold it back” Not send the money, then say “hold on to this till we get a report”

I called back that Monday morning And I asked for them to explain it to me as if I was 6 years old… they did

I was told that the trust had so many liens to research, and it could take literally years to accomplish this task.

It was decided that the $ was to be sent to each claimants attorney, then the law office would do the research on any type of lein..

My attorney uses “zip Leins” I was also told it could take 30-60 days because there were cut backs on Medicare and medicade offices.. once they get the report.. the check will be mailed overnight As opposed to eft transfer, where there may be errors in the transfers

How long as this going to take? Going on 30 days now I’m gonna pass of old age before I get a penny
