Yall don’t know this about me, but The Emperor’s New Groove is my favorite Disney Movie of all time! I would watch this movie religiously because of Yzma and Kronk back when I was a kid. Even watched the series. Now I know Kronk is Yzma’s henchman, but near the end of the movie, he turned on Yzma and then he spent the final scene being a Junior Chimpmunk Troop Leader to some kids (And Yzma as a kitten lol) and I would find it hard to believe if they had Kronk living on the Isle of the Lost the whole time b4 the barrier was down because I never saw Kronk as a villain, just a kind hearted person who wouldn’t harm a fly. I hope they had him living in Auradon the whole time by the time Hidden Heroes comes out cause it’ll break my heart if it was the opposite. I know Descendants has its flaws, but this would’ve been the biggest flaw for me and I might be sad about it. But those are my opinions, so what do yall think?

Before the movie came out, many fans were already dismissing the Cheshire Cat’s daughter because she was voiced by Awkwafina. I never really understood the hate, but I don’t care about their reasons. What I really care about if she’s gonna make this character how she’s supposed to be and tbh, she did. Like her dad, Chessy has his abilities which comes in handy when she wants to get around or play mind tricks. For example, she can teleport to get from one place to another and avoid getting hit from certain people 🎩😂. She can even suggest things to people to make them go against each other, in other words, instigating a fight or two while staying invisible. And a big thing, she’s aware of what’s happening since she’s the narrator of Wicked Wonderland. Maybe her powers go beyond of what we know? All I know is no matter what magical powers she may have, she’s a messy lil cat just like her daddy when he was instigating things between Alice and The Queen of Hearts back in the day😂😂😂. She loves chaos more than anything. She can probably cause wars between kingdoms, all it would take was a small suggestion in their minds and they would be putty in her claws. After watch this movie so many times, she’s definitely more villainous than the Cheshire Cat and I’m curious on what more mischief she’ll come up with in D6. But I just know it’ll be messy as fluff😂😂😂😂 iykyk 😂😂😂😂!

Now, I know there’s some of yall that would disagree with my ranking, but I have to be honest with myself. Wicked Wonderland exceeded my expectations with the characters, the costumes, the sets, the storyline, the improved CGI and the songs! I liked 7 of the songs, Max’s character has me by the fingertips and Hazel has become one of my favorite characters and I hope she and Chloe get together by the end of this trilogy🩵🪝. Wonderland looks so beautiful now that Bridget is still good and I just feel bad about how Maddox ended up. And the drama between Red and Chloe was tense and they’re both in their rights to feel what they feel, but I’m glad things ended well. And lastly, I know how many of y’all feel about Chessy, but I have to say, she grew on me and she makes a conniving villain, but she can also be as messy as her dad was 😂. Idc if Awkwafina isn’t your favorite actress, she killed it. I never had any hate for her anyways, she’s still one of the best part of the movie. One more thing, Robbie and Felix were robbed of the spotlight, which is a shame unfortunately and Red and Luis are cute together❤️💪🏽. Wow, didn’t mean to turn this into a review, but there you go on how I feel about WW😂. As for the rest, WW may be number 2, but it’ll never beat D2, that’s a fact. D1 is a classic and I still love it, but I only liked half the songs from the movie. TRoR wasn’t bad, but even I can tell it was a bit of a mess, especially with Chloe’s hair 😂. As for D3, yall I can’t stress enough about the motocross outfits, the storyline and how we didn’t get at least Maleficent back, and also, this would’ve been a perfect opportunity for Jane to shine when her mom got turned into stone and instead, she, Doug and Gil were literally sitting on the sidelines. But at least I liked most of the songs, so I’ll give them that.

And that’s it for me. Hope there’s some of you that agrees with my ranking and reasons for what I said. If not, that’s ok, everyone’s allowed to have their opinion, even if they don’t agree with me on the canon of the franchise. Just because we have different opinions, it doesn’t mean we still can’t like Descendants in our own ways. That’s the part of about it, we can think for ourselves and not let anyone tell us otherwise, that’s the beauty of it. Stay Wicked, yall!

It’s been months since I’ve finished season 2 of Quincy’s Journey. I was working on a few chapters for the new season, but then Fanfiction.net started to act up and I can’t even get to upload on there. Maybe it’s faulty on my part, idk. But I’ll I know is I can’t keep on stalling myself from writing my stories anymore. And I’m not getting good traction on Ao3, so I’ve been thinking about expanding over to Wattpad and hopefully, it’ll get some buzz on there. I’ll give an update soon, but until then, Have a Wicked Day!

Since D1, Maleficent was known as the worst villain in the land as said by Former King Beast. And now with the new timeline and words from Luis Madrigal and Fairy Godmother, he’s now the number one villain who uses his inventions to terrorize all the kingdoms in search of the pocket watch, which cause Bridget, the former villain, to send him to the Isle of the Lost for over 2 decades until the barrier was brought down. Do y’all think it was unfair that Maleficent was knocked off her throne for worst villain or did Maddox earned his spot?

I saw a clip of it today and it got me reminiscing the good old days. I was so hoping that would meant Jordan was gonna be in D2 since she’s my favorite AK/HK out of all the rest. Wish we could’ve gotten a full visual of her look too, that would’ve really made my day. Shoutout to Iman Karram for portraying her role in the music video even though it was short.

6 of these lovelies have kids of their own that we know of in the entire Descendants franchise, but the rest still aren’t known for having children as of yet. Which of those Disney Princesses would you want to have kids next?

So first off, I wanna start by saying that I woke up after 1:30am on Friday and saw that not only is the song I preordered available, but also the music video and I had to see it, so I watched it on my Roku Smart TV and I was beyond impressed. In fact, I was so impressed, that I had this song and music video on repeated all day at work, I’ve hardly listened to any other song. I love this song so much that I decided to make some notes on what I’ve noticed and how it the movie might turn out.

1. Red and Chloe’s friendship- I love how they acknowledged each other as best friends, just thought that was cute. With their friendship, they’re gonna need each other now more than ever cause as we all know, messing with the past can have serious consequences and they need to get through this together.

2. Pink- What I got from watching her is that she generally loves Red and even got put her favorite bow (which Red obviously does not like). I even got the feeling that she has at least a small case of FOMO when Luis was mentioning 2 heroes and not 3. Pink definitely wants to make herself known while also maintaining her relationship with her big sister. From the trailer, I can tell that she’s got her sister’s back and wants to help her no matter what. So far, I like her and her personality.

3. Queen of Hearts’s new attitude- I don’t talk about this often, but I’m loving Bridget’s kindness. She was even helping Red get ready for school with a big smile on her face and even kissing both of her daughters goodbye.

4. Queen Ella’s perspective- At first, I didn’t notice, but eventually, I listened to Ella’s lyrics. She’s all about being perfect and giving Chloe things just because and not because she earned them and even Chloe noticed when Ella lied about always dreaming of being a true princess. Seems like Bridget wasn’t the only thing that changed in the past. Whatever is going on, it seems to affect Ella’s point of view and her principles. Wonder where this will lead?

5. Luis and Robbie- Seems like those two are friends and for some reason they’re all chummy with Red and Chloe. Maybe in the new timeline, they’re actually are friends with the two princesses, or at least just Chloe. But then again, Red has lived her life in Wonderland and Chloe was Homeschooled her whole life. Not sure what to make of them yet, but we’ll have to wait and see.

6. The Students of Auradon Prep- It’s a mix of VKs and HKs(Previously AKs), which is a huge change from the first trilogy since there was only 5 VKs at the time and now thanks to Queen Mal and King Ben, the Isle of the Lost is free and the inhabitants are now able to go to Auradon Prep, the VK’s opportunities are now unlimited.

7. Max Hatter and his VK crew- They consist of Hazel Hook, Felix Facilier and lastly, the Smee Twins who are all grown up and has finally spoken their first words, but also has a different attitude. Wonder why that is? Maybe Hazel influenced them? Or Felix? Probably Max, but it’s clear that they’re friends with each other. Also, I noticed Felix’s hands and they are covered in tattoos. I like that little detail, not to mention he has a thing for cards like his big sister Celia. I even want to note that even his older sister Freddie has white marking under her eyes. I just wish he had a top hat like they do. As for Hazel, like brother like sister, she must be looking up to Harry when it comes to hooks.

8. Max’s Existence and his hair- When Pink said Max’s last name, Red looked at him in confusion. Maybe it’s been a while since she last saw him or just maybe….Max never exist before the timeline change. Maybe Pink wasn’t the only one who was created out of thin air. Only time will tell next month. Also, near the end of the video, Max’s hair went from black with purple streaks to full on purple. Oh Zeus, don’t tell me that they’re making him the new Chloe. What next, he’s going to be having lavender hair?

9. The gay VK couple- When Red and Chloe were hiding in a couple, I saw these two VK boys dancing with each other romantically and I’m just so happy about that 2 second representation. Maybe this is indicating that one of the main characters will be LGBTQ+? And yall know who I’m talking about🩵. Come on Disney, let our light blue princess be gay!

And that’s all I have to say about it. I give this music video a 10/10. It’s definitely giving a true Descendants vibe or better yet, a Descendants 2 vibe, but just a theory with that last bit, though it does feel like D2 in a way. Overall, I can’t wait for Wicked Wonderland next month and I’ll be having my popcorn and drink ready, along with my family watching with me. Hope you make plans for movie night and have fun with it! Also, I heard that one of the other songs, Mad, will be coming out next Thursday along with a music video and the sample I heard, I’m psyched, so do with what you want with that information. I’m so ready for tomorrow! I know I’m gonna love the music video! I know the song’s leaked, but I’m the kind of guy who has patience for these sort of things. Even made plans to host a watch party for the day the movie comes out on Disney+, so I’m all in!

Just wanted to show the love I have for Harriet as this is her very first visual look in all of Descendants media ever. Her facial expressions are my favorite thing about her as she can go from sassy to disbelief and even when she shows her soft side. She might be my favorite member of the Hook family.

Ok you guys, I’m back and ready to do this review. I will be giving my highlights and I’m probably gonna be telling the whole story, so grab some popcorn and enjoy the review. Remember, for those who don’t wanna be spoiled and get the book for themselves, the spoiler warning is now in effect!

I like how the book started with flashbacks from D3 from the Uma and her crew to the proposal, to Audrey and Hades, to the barrier taken down. Then we move to Uma figuring out that now there’s peace between Auradon and The Isle of the Lost, she’s wondering what’s next for her. So naturally, she went to the King and Queen, Ben and Mal, for some advice, who the Fairy Godmother was also seeing when Uma went to their castle. They talked, with Uma pointing out not everyone will be open to the newly formed peace between Auradon and the Isle with Mal reminding her how she got to where she is now and that things change and people change. Then there’s the part where Fairy Godmother, whom Uma refers to as Fairy G, mentions to Uma on her thoughts of retiring and that maybe what Auradon Prep needs is not someone who’s just nice. So Uma wonders along the beach, unsure what to do when a girl hugged her out of nowhere and thanks her for being a hero along with her parents, though Uma felt weird about being called a hero as she’s not sure if that’s how she sees herself.

The next day, Uma and her crew were fixing up the Lost Revenge that she owned since that race in Rise of the Isle of the Lost when suddenly, Ben came on official business and asks Desiree, who i remembered from the 3rd Isle of the Lost book also, to watch the ship. Ben was talking Uma about some kids from the Auradon Prep sailing club are missing and they haven’t been heard from in days. He also mentioned that the area where they sailed to is swarming with pirates. While Harry takes some offense to that, Uma agrees to look into it and Ben takes his leave. Uma, Harry, Gil and Desiree has a discussion on who could’ve taken those kids and Captain Hook was brought up since he was known for kidnapping kids, but Uma doesn’t think it was him and vows to solve this mystery and save those kids.

Before they head out, Uma leaves the Lost Revenge to do something and they would be visiting her mother, the one and only Ursula. She was staying in a cabin in a creek somewhere. You would think we would get to see her face, but sadly, that’s not the case. But I will say this, there was more tentacles and she had more lines than she did in D2. In this particular scene, I got to see how their relationship is now that the barrier is down. I can already tell that Ursula was not really happy when Uma has given up on villainy and wants to help people now, which she suspected for a long time. There was even Flotsam and Jetsam around Uma’s ankles since the floor is covered in water. Uma then tells Ursula that’s she going out to sea to save those kids and that’s when her mom had a change in tone(though I only guess it since she dropped a bottle on the floor when Uma told her that). That’s when Ursula warned Uma of sea witches and krakens out there and how dangerous they can be. To Uma’s surprise, Ursula reminded her that she holds the power she gave her when one of her tentacles touched her seashell necklace and encouraged her with some words like she’s the better and smarter than everyone and to be careful, which Uma, and I of course, smiled about.

Uma got back to the ship and as she and her crew prepared to leave, Uma gives everyone beeswax for their ears to protect them from the sea witches spells. They finally set sail and heads out on their mission. Eventually, they headed into a storm and do everything they can to get themselves through it. Suddenly, they hear singing. But not just any singing, it was a spell from the sea witches and Uma picked up on that. She commanded everyone to put in the beeswax and it worked, but unfortunately, Harry dropped his and was now affected by the coven of 4 sea-dwelling witches, who have boarded the Lost Revenge. The pirates are fighting for their lives as the sea witches attacked them but now that the pink-glowy eyed Harry Hook is under the coven’s command, he takes hold of the ship’s helm and steers it in another direction. Uma fights him off, but Harry manages to push her off the ship and into the ocean. Pretty soon, Uma has lost consciousness and her view goes dark.

After a while, Uma was waking up, but with the faces of her crew staring at her. Uma asks about Harry since he isn’t with them, but Desiree says that they’re not sure, but when the sea witches attacked them on all sides and tries to steer them into the water, another pirate crew came and saved them. But Uma wasn’t too sure since they’re below deck and thought they might be prisoners, plus they don’t have their weapons. Just then, a pirate named Skip came down and as chipper as he looks, he tells them that his captain wants to see them when they’re ready. Uma has everyone behind her as they ascend to the deck. Their rescuers’ ship was right next to the Lost Revenge in what seems to be a big cavern on an island. It was then Uma spots Harry who was tied up to the mast. As she makes her way to untie him, Skip stops her to warn her that Harry’s still under the spell. At that moment, the door from the captain’s quarters is opening and the crew of this ship stands attention. But y’all, I was hyperventilating and my heart is pounding because the captain happens to be someone who we haven’t seen in 9 years since their last appearance on Wicked World. That’s right, you guessed it, it’s CJ Hook, Captain Hook’s daughter and Harry’s little sister. Oh my god, that made my day. I wasn’t expecting to see CJ in this graphic novel, but she is and I’m so happy right now!!! She hasn’t appeared much throughout the franchise, but she has made her mark on not just Wicked World, but also in three of the School of Secrets books, with the first one making her the main character. She was also mentioned in a couple of the Isle of the Lost books, but after that, nothing else. I know a lot of people are saying that Wicked World isn’t canon, but this author, Kalynn Bayron, has been doing her research on everything and made the decision to put CJ in the story for plot purposes, which you’ll know more about in a minute. So for the Wicked World not canon claims, Kalynn is basically saying yes it is lol, so good luck trying to proof it isn’t lol. So back to the story, CJ introduces herself to Uma as Captain Hook. Like father, like daughter, name wise that is. One more thing, it’s just so cool that CJ has got to become captain and has a crew and a huge schooner like she wanted back when she teamed up with Zevon. Now then, after CJ made her introduction, Uma was still on edge as she still sees Harry tied up, but CJ understood and reminds her it’s better like this since Harry’s still in a trance. Uma was still skeptical of her though and that’s when one of Uma’s crew members pointed out that CJ is Harry’s little sister, which she didn’t care for being called little. From they way CJ was talking, it appears that she was still off the Isle since before the barrier was taken down, so I guess when I heard about on Wikia that she was captured and put back on the isle on Escape from the Isle of the Lost, it may of been a speculation since she mentioned it’s been years since she saw Harry and asks if he was more or less like their father. Uma did say yes, but also points out they were all like their parents once, but things are different now. CJ then mentioned she heard a rumor about how Uma helped brought down the barrier and on how she grew up and is not as reckless as she used to be, which I can tell from the way she’s talking. When CJ asked why was Uma and her crew out in oceans, that’s when she told her about the missing kids and CJ didn’t seem surprised but was surprised that Uma hasn’t been hearing on what’s going on in the seas and advised her on to keep an ear to the sea. That’s when Uma and her crew want to cut to chase and for CJ to explain what’s been happening lately. CJ finally tells them there’s a war brewing and it wasn’t a coincidence that those kids have disappeared. Turns out CJ and her crew were carrying out a mission of their own and have been steering VKs away from the same place that they’re now docked to, the AKs are news to her though. As Uma questions her again, CJ mentions that it doesn’t matter what kind of kids they are, that she doesn’t care. That’s CJ telling Uma that the person who’s kidnapping those kids is a she and apparently, the kidnappers makes her dad tame. As Uma keeps listening, CJ tells her that her dad wasn’t exactly involved much in her and her brother’s lives, but that someone else, who is the person responsible for everything, taught her and Harry everything she knows. She was known as the most fiercest and feared pirate that sailed the seven seas. Y’all, I know where this is going and I’m sure to the true fans of this franchise that you know who CJ is referring to. That’s when CJ brought a picture and nailed it on the edge of her ship with her pocket knife. Uma looks at three kids, well 2 kids and a blonde baby. Come on you guys, yall already know. The baby is CJ, the boy in the picture is Harry and the other kid, who’s a girl and older than the two, is none other than their older sister, who made her debut in the first Isle of the Lost book, Harriet Hook!!!! OMG!!! Yall, Harriet Hook as a little girl in a picture and she has the most beautiful pale blue eyes I’ve ever seen. This wasn’t her current look, but this is the first time I’ve seen how Harriet looked as a child. Later on, I’ll see how she looks as of now, but for now at this point, this is what I got to see of her.

Night falls(pun intended lol), and both crew are surrounding a campfire. Uma says she heard rumors that Harriet’s ship sank years ago and assumed she was died but that wasn’t the case as CJ said she was patient, cunning and biding her time, and mentioned she has such tenacity. It was no surprise she looks up to her since Harriet her big sister and she’s stubborn in her current ways, which Uma can relate to. But even CJ admits Harriet’s gone too far and does these things because she doesn’t see any other was to live. CJ maybe naming herself like her father, but Harriet wants to be like him all the way and is building an army of pirates to get her title back as the fiercest pirate in the seas. She unfortunately is getting those missing Auradon Prep kids to be in her army, which doesn’t make sense for Uma. That’s when CJ said that Harriet is using the sea witches to put them in a trance like Harry was when they use those spells like music since it was irresistible. With Harriet’s army, she can rule the seas but Uma wasn’t going to let that happen and wants to find her camp. CJ said that it was the opposite side of the island they’re on and she tried to stop her by sea approach, but it was proven to be nearly fatal when the sea witches tried to drown her ship. But Uma’s confident that now that’s she’s there, she can make a plan. CJ wasn’t sure about them succeeding, but Uma’s crew had faith in her and says CJ doesn’t know who she’s talking to. And when Uma asks “What’s my name?” Her crew shouts “Uma!”. As they all sing a song, the two captain talked some more and Uma could use CJ’s help, so that got CJ saying she would want her, Harry and Harriet to be sailing the seas together. Uma then says CJ has to make her see there’s another way and that’s a possibility and shakes hands with the agreement to work together and no double crossing. Then back on CJ’s ship, they brought out a map they had when CJ first landed on this island. Uma is going to take her crew through the island while CJ and her crew be bait so Uma and them can sneak aboard Harriet’s ship. After they agreed, they raised their swords and the plan was in motion.

Uma and her crew head to enemy territory and sees their ship. Uma even sees the back of the captain and y’all know it’s Harriet, with the way her red coat and hat looks, I almost thought it was the OG Captain Hook himself lol. One of the sea witches was talking with her and then Uma sees the kids from Auradon Prep rowing a boat with glowing pink eyes, which confirms what CJ told Uma. CJ’s part of the plan is working as one of Harriet’s crew members spots CJ’s ship. That’s gave Uma the signal, but another from Harriet’s crew spots Uma and that’s when Gil came to the rescue and sends him tumbling in a barrel. Uma and the crew then faces off with Harriet crew and sees some of the kids from Auradon Prep and they all got into a fight. Uma and her crew is subduing them and then uses her seashell necklace and creates a mist that de-spells the magic that’s control the kids. As Uma checks on them, turns out that some of the kids that are spelled upon are pirates from the Isle, with one of them saying they were forced to come on Harriet’s ship for her cause, but they wanted to find treasure and sing songs, which Gil pointed out that they’re good guys. That’s when a cannonball hit CJ’s ship, which Gil mentions about and he also reminded Uma that Harry was still on that ship as well. That’s when Uma tells her crew that they have to move and fights of the rest of Harriet crew, with some being thrown over board by Uma and them as they make their escape.

Uma and her crew sails on the Lost Revenge to get to the shipwreck and sees CJ’s crew floating in the water, which Uma couldn’t believe her eyes that Harriet was willing to go that far. As they rescued them, one of CJ’s crew members said Harriet fired on them when they were in range and then Uma sees Harry still tied to what’s left of the mast. She sees the sea witches and tells her crew to use the beeswax once more. Uma tries to rescue Harry by lassoing a rope and ties it to the mast, but the sea witches intervened. The rope broke as there’s too many of the sea witches and they try to drown Harry but then Uma remembers her necklace. She takes off her captain’s hat and dives into the sea. Her necklace activates and she’s now part octopus. She fights off the coven of sea witches with her tentacles and gets to Harry. It appears she’s singing her own song to cancel out the sea witches spell and then Harry finally snaps out of it. Confused as to why he’s out there, Harry is being pulled up to the Lost Revenge and then Uma does one final attack against the sea witches and pulls off the same stunt her mother in her final scene of the the Little Mermaid and creates a whirlpool, catching the sea witches in it and they swirled away. As Uma gets back on the ship, Harry hugs her and it was just a cute moment when they blushed. But the celebration faded out quickly as Harry asked what was happening. Uma then tells him they know what happened to the kids. That was when Harry saw the ship Uma is looking at and he knew instantly that it was his older sister Harriet’s ship. Uma had to tell him that Harriet is behind everything. Harry was shocked to find out that she’s been alive this whole time and then one of CJ’s crew members said Harriet captured CJ when she took down her ship, which Harry wasn’t surprised since he knows how reckless she can be and he was ready to set sail after her. But then Uma calms him down and uses her necklace to take over one of Harriet’s crew members. As she does, she got him to go in the room where Harriet is and….OMG!!! I jumped up and down my chair when I finally saw Captain Harriet Hook in the flesh!!!! Oh, thank you, Kalynn, for bringing her back and had her drawn up!!! She is gorgeous and she looked very sassy. From the short dark hair with a braid and her pale blue eyes and her pirate outfit, she is definitely Captain Hook’s eldest child!!! Whew, and now back to the story as Uma communicates with Harriet. She already knew it was Uma that’s talking to her and Uma demands a parley, which I’m guessing it’s like a pause in pirate terms to have a talk with her. Harriet agrees on the condition that she comes to her ship alone, which Uma agrees and she hangs up. Of course, Harry knows Uma is walking into a trap and that he figured that Uma might do something extreme, but Uma knows Harry is worried about Harriet, which he’s embarrassed to admit that he is worried about her and CJ since they’re his family. Uma then tells the crew her plan, to get the Auradon Prep kids and sail away and if she doesn’t get back to their ship, that they have to leave her, but of course they wouldn’t dream of doing, but Uma wasn’t asking and she knows they’ll follow orders cause to her, they’re the best crew she’s ever known. Before she boards Harriet’s ship, Harry gives Uma a coin for luck.

As she boards, they watch on and I just know that Harry just wasn’t going to abandon her, even if she tells him to, but that hasn’t happened yet. Harriet’s pirates restrains Uma and Harriet gots face to face with her. When Uma was listing all the things Harriet has done, she cheekily asks her sister CJ, who was in a cage high up, if those sounded like mistakes. Harriet then leads Uma to a room where she last spoke with Uma through her crew member. When they sat down, they finally had their talk. Harriet still couldn’t believe that Uma is now a savior of Auradon, then Uma is trying to understand why is she involving the kids of Auradon Prep. Harriet tries to convince Uma that she should join her side and together as the children of the villains whose names were known throughout the seven seas, they can accomplish so much. But Uma reassures that she doesn’t need to be a villain to make anyone, including her mom, proud of her and neither does Harriet. Uma then fires off at her about firing on CJ and drowning Harry, which the latter Harriet didn’t even know about. But Harriet fires back by saying if her brother and sister were with her in the first place, then that wouldn’t have happened. Then that when Uma figures out what this has all been about. She wanted Harry and CJ to be beside her, sailing out in the seas and she can’t stand it that they weren’t. Harriet convinced herself that they both turned their backs on her when they chose different paths and then draws out her sword as she declares that the parley is over. Then Uma takes out hers as well and starts a sword fight.

They took there fight to the deck with CJ hollering at Harriet to stop. As Harriet made another strike, that’s when Harry’s coin slipped out of Uma’s now cut up pocket. Then Harriet sees the coin and instantly recognizes it. She asked Uma where she got it from and that’s when not surprisingly, Harry comes aboard Harriet’s and said it was from him. Then after CJ demands to be let down, Harriet basically snaps her fingers and her crew members lifts her down and out of the cage. Both Uma and Harriet withdrew their swords and the 3 Hook siblings were together at last and it was…it just felt right. Harry looks to his sister and mentions how long it’s been and Harriet looks up to him as she realizes he’s not so little anymore. Harriet says that she gave that coin for their father, Captain Hook, when she was little and says that he took it with him on his adventures to Neverland and on every voyage, but was confused on why Uma has and she replies that Harry gave it to her for luck, which surprises Harriet since it was one of their father’s most prized possessions. But according to Harry, that wasn’t the case. He found that coin when he was a kid and asked their dad if he can have but he doesn’t care and doesn’t remember where he got that from but Harry did because she told him about it. Harriet accused Harry for lying, but he assures her that it’s the truth. He also said that he kept it with him for luck and then got sad when he heard about her ship sinking. CJ then says that Harriet has been chasing the ghost of what their father was. But then she and Harry told her that she doesn’t have to do what she’s been doing and that she can make a better choice. Uma then asks Harriet from Captain to Captain if she can let those kids go and reluctantly, she agrees and Uma lets her keep the coin since it belong to her family. Harriet then didn’t want to harm anybody and she wanted to be together with her own brother and sister and thought they turned their backs on her, which they said wasn’t true and that the paths they took lead them back to her. Uma and Harriet even came to an understand with Uma wanting her to help her protect the kids from Auradon and the Isle of the Lost and she assures Harriet that she doesn’t have to let everything she knows go. Harriet then gets pulled into a hug with her siblings.

Morning came and Harriet was apologizing to CJ for everything, including sinking her ship, which she will make it up for. Uma then asks Harriet to help her to protect seas and all and to at least doing her for siblings. Then Harriet makes one more request to have Harry with her for at least a little while. She realizes how much she missed him and CJ. Uma was sad to see Harry go, but he’s her friend and comes to realize for herself that they both need this as so much time has passed since they last saw each other. Uma then tells Harry to go be with his sisters and while Harriet wasn’t sure if Harry would agree, Harry hugs her instantly. Uma then tells Harry for if or when he comes back, he’ll always have a spot amongst her crew then Harriet gives Uma the coin back. As they set sail for Auradon, Uma, Gil, Desiree and the rest of the crew on the Lost Revenge waves goodbye to the Hook siblings and Harry and his sisters do the same.

Uma and her crew made it back to Auradon and she along with Ben, Mal, and the Auradon Prep students, had a meeting where the kids told the king and queen on how brave Uma is and how she was a hero that would sacrifice herself for them. Mal and Ben couldn’t be more satisfied with those words as they knew Uma had it in her. Just when they were finishing, Fairy Godmother walked in and she was told the good news. She along with Mal and Ben were more than impressed with Uma and Mal was mentioning on how Fairy Godmother was talking about retiring and is looking for someone who’s more than nice, which Uma was confused about. That’s when Mal asks if she can take over Auradon Prep as the new Headmistress. Overwhelmed with the news, Uma needed time to think about and dashes off. On a dock she was sitting at as the sun is setting, Ursula came and they’ve talked about what Uma did out in the ocean. Uma then says that they offered her the headmistress job and that shocked Ursula. Still not happy with her being a do-gooder, Uma was still sure Ursula wasn’t proud of her, but she was proven wrong when Ursula said that she could learn to be and that how to got to be where she is now, Uma got it from her. That’s when Uma knows that her mom is proud of her and let out a tear or two.

And we’ve come to the end when Uma signs the paper, officially making her the new Headmistress of Auradon Prep and her crew pulls her into a group hug with Ben, Mal and Fairy Godmother to witness!

And there you have it, my review and basically the whole story. God, I just love this book so much and once again, I want to thank Kalynn Bayron for creating it. I give this book 10/10.

Yall, I was so hyped when I saw these two! Not only is CJ back, but after 11 years, Harriet has finally made her visual appearance! I have to say, Harriet looks like how I imagined her to be! I was jumping in my chair and I had to hold my chest from having a heart attack lol. She, along with her sister, both look so good! I don’t want to spoil much of the story, but this book is now officially one of my favorites of all time! And just so y’all know, this story takes place between D3 and TRoR, so for those who are still saying that the books and Wicked World aren’t canon to the movies, well, this might be tough to argue with 😂.

I’ve been waiting for this book to come out 4Ever! I’ve seen pics of some of the pages and saw some info that got me more excited. As soon as the release date arrived, which is today, I went and got it! After I have some dinner, I’ll get right to reading it!
