This seems to be the first movie of the rumored trilogy with Tiana's daughter and Flynn's son who's mother isn't Rapunzel but a villain.

According to the first pic, Rapunzel's daughter is also gonna appear, so I guess she'll her half-brother, unless her father is also someone else but I highly doubt that; but now that I think about it, it could be interesting (as long as she had her before she met Flynn)- maybe before leaving her tower she met a boy, they fell in love, and had a child, who the boy took because Mother Gothel would obviously be enraged if she found out. And they used a spell that they either found in a spell book that belonged to Mother Gothel or the boy himself knew some magic to hide the pregnancy. Honestly, I kinda really want this to happen now lol

The multiverse certainly sounds interesting. And I literally just realized right after I was done typing that last sentence... maybe Fraiser is Flynn's son from a different universe, and the Flynn we all know didn't have a child before he met Rapunzel. I wonder what exactly they mean by "real world" in the second pic. My best guesses would be the main universe or the other universes are something like storybook realms

When making this post, I also found this article. One thing that made me (mentally) groan was seeing Anastasia Tremaine's child as one of the villains. I know most people don't, but I strongly believe Disney's direct-to-video/made for TV sequels are just as canon to Descendants as the original movies*, even if Disney doesn't acknowledge them much (which they should imo). And I know in the books Anastasia and Iago are both on the Isle, but the books aren't even completely canon to begin with, shown by how the Queen of Hearts was on the Isle and I think there's other inconsistencies too. I know it's not really fair to get annoyed at the writers because I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even know of these sequels' existence (which is on Disney), but still.

Overall the story sounds really interesting, and I honestly hope it's real. I initially didn't like it because it seemed like Flynn must've cheated on Rapunzel or broken up with her to have this child with this mystery villain, but I realized that he could've met this villain and had him before he met Rapunzel.

*If anybody cares, here's my spin-off idea where Anastasia's redemption is brought up and her son is an HK; and there's even a somewhat meta reference how "later stories aren't taught in history class that much and aren't as well known", referring to how Disney most ignores their direct-to-video/made for TV sequels nowadays
