The unseating of Diana degette and the propagation of that news is the reason US soft power rules supreme.

I just watched many articles and several news channels celebrating the primary win of a 29-year-old young Democrat who unseated a 30-year-old incumbent. Diana degette. As a new immigrant to the United States, I always wondered why around the world countries which are getting bombed by american made bombs, people who are victims of violence around the world look up to United States and US people as their saviors and expect Americans to care for them.

I think it's elections like these and the results like these which show that voters really care about issues which may not directly affect them and are conscious. Despite heavy amount of money and propagandq against them, they care about ideals and values.

I'm not sure if such things happen in the UK,Germany and France or for that matter in other parts of the world like China, Canada, India, Australia. Where despite money and propaganda flowing in favor of issues that do not directly affect the electorate the electorate chooses to do what is ideally and morally the right thing to do.

Parents in bengaluru- How do you vet childcare facility for your toddler?

Came across the news about the abuse of toddlers in a daycare in bengaluru. It's early news but I am sure it's every parents nightmare.

For working families where both parents need to work and don't have family support to care for your toddlers, how do you vet daycare facilities and childcare workers? Are the license requirements by state? Are you able to find affordable childcare where workers are licensed?

Dangerous precedent of using AI by a tribunal

The observations came while the apex court set aside the NCLT and NCLAT judgement. The NCLT relief on fake, non existent AI generated, hallucinated judicial precedents.

In its order, the bench compared the threat posed by AI-generated precedents to that of methyl isocyanate, the gas that killed thousands in the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, calling such material “invisible, insidious, and catastrophic by the time anyone notices”. The court said such material “contaminates the judicial process” and strips judicial determination of “its very lifeblood".

The bench subsequently directed the Bar Council of India (BCI) to set up a committee to examine lawyers placing fake or hallucinated AI-generated material before courts as genuine precedent, and to frame guiding principles with disciplinary consequences for violations. It said courts must adopt a “zero tolerance” policy on citing or relying on such material, and that an advocate who cites hallucinated judgments commits professional misconduct, while a judge who relies on them commits a serious lapse.

While it's easy and convenient to blame the nclt and ncl8s laziness and oversight in creating a judgment that relied on fake and hallucinated cases .The challenge here is for the courts including the courts under the executive like the national law tribunals and the judiciary to figure out a way to incorporate ai and technology to handle the massive overburden of cases at the same time, ensuring that such fake and hallucinated cases don't make it into case law and set dangerous precedence.

I'm a lazy shopper and usually just go and shop on Amazon a few years ago. Bought these good threads brand poplin shirts which were buttoned down printed and in the large tall sizes. Those fit me really well for the summer months because I could pair them with shorts.

I needed a wardrobe update for my summer shirts and went on Amazon and couldn't find any brand that had all these parameters fit. It needs to be cotton, large tall, slim fit, printed, and poplin. Can anybody recommend good online websites where I could find all of these where each shirt is under 30 bucks?
