Can someone explain this to me as a pre-med?
I plan to take the calculus-based physics sequences on a pre-med track (not a physics major though). The course sequence planning if you take this route is PHYS161, PHYS260/PHYS261, and PHYS271. However, I hear that you cannot take PHYS271 without PHYS270. Is PHYS270 really required despite not being listed on the pre-med sample sheet?
