As the title says, I made the jump to modern pads and I tried them on in the house with skates and everything felt different. I'm a goalie since elementary school and played AA and AAA (girls) when I was younger and now I just play for fun, but I'm afraid I'll look crazy on the ice. I've been using my Revoke ever since 2011 so the jump will be a lot to get used to... I'm only 5 foot tall so the Revoke were a bit too big, but I could move so easily in them and close the butterfly real quick. On the other hand, the GSX feel so big when I drop in the butterfly... The knee block is also very hard, which makes me afraid for my knees... Any tips would be appreciated for goalies who made the jump 😅
