What has changed that we no longer get pressure tests?

I’m just genuinely confused what the mechanical difference is because we no longer get pressure tests but the episodes are essentially the same length.

The ironic part is I don’t even feel like we get to see significantly more cooking action or anything. Did we used to see less of the cook and I’m hallucinating?

Maybe it’s just nostalgia, but the show used to be so much better to watch and I really don’t get why. somehow we don’t get pressured tests, but the episodes still feel rushed?

Why did they allow multiple cooks from the same country?

I was just thinking it would’ve been cool if there was some additional diversity in which people they initially chose.

I understand that at the end of the day it’s an individual competition and it comes down to cooking quality, but I was surprised to see two chefs from Nigeria (I think), two from Morocco, two from Italy, and two from Mexico, as well as two chefs from the South Asian region and none from the Middle East?

Anybody else feel this way? I know there aren’t exactly a ton of home cooks from every country in the world but I thought it would’ve been a bit more fun if we got to see more of the cultural flair that was personal for each contestant.

I also really love the idea of the country specific themes and even the groups was kind of fun, but then if most of the challenges are still going to be to recreate the classics and Gordon, Tiffany, and Joe’s dishes, what was the point of searching for cultural “specialty” in the first place?

Foo please step it up

I love Foo, I don’t know if it’s just because I have a soft spot for an immigrant Dad but he makes me so happy. I need him to step it up because he hasn’t cooked anything remarkable this competition so far

Severe anxiety that I will throw up on my long flight

I have an extreme fear of flying now, since on the last flight I was on there was a passenger who was vomiting repeatedly and forcefully every 15 minutes for 6 hours straight just a few seats away from me.

I had so much anxiety about HIS vomiting and fear that I would start vomiting too or catch whatever stomach bug he had that I could barely breathe and I was on the verge of crying. I was also so angry at the fact that he got on the flight probably knowing he was sick because his first vomiting episode was like 10 minutes into takeoff and it just continued on and on the whole time.

Now, I am planning to travel to visit my friend in Korea which is a 15-hour direct flight and I’m so scared that I will have to vomit on this flight. I’m so extremely scared of vomiting to begin with, but the idea of having to vomit in a confined space around other people watching me is just an extreme nightmare. I have felt nauseous on flights many times before but never actually vomited, but I have never been on any flight THIS long and I don’t want to jinx myself.

I know I should go to Korea and experience this while I’m young but I have considered canceling my trip so many times now just out of fear that I will vomit on the flight. Best believe I will take every anti-motion sickness and nausea remedy known to man but I am still so, so scared.

“B-b-but Spanish look like Northern Europeans! Morrocans are brown 🤢”

Notice how the Moroccan contestant is actually lighter complexion than the Spanish one… Southern Europeans especially Spanish have to be the most delusional on Earth.

Yes, you guys do look MENA. Sorry. Keep crying.

Reality check some of you may not want to hear

There is a HUGE difference between actual negligence from your plastic surgeon and you just being slightly unhappy with your result because you feel it's not "perfect" enough.

Before I had my nose job, my plastic surgeon explicitly told me in the consultation that with ANY nose job, the goal is BETTER, not PERFECT. He said, of course, plastic surgeons go in with a plan, but there is a lot that they can not determine until they actually get in there and see a person's cartilage and bone. Sometimes, it's simply not possible for a person's anatomy to have a Cindy Kimberly nose.

I ended up with a "Barbie" nose anyway after my procedure, but it took well over six months for me to actually feel happy with it. Not only was my nose swollen (especially in the front, making it look very wide) but the rest of my face was still tense so that when I smiled, my nose didn't drop at all and my cheeks couldn't move properly. I looked scary for a good while. Everybody will have different experiences with this, I know MANY people who looked totally normal one month post surgery.

Please keep in mind a lot of this comes down to your individual anatomy and your body's response to a major surgery. A rhinoplasty isn't no big deal: it's a truly major surgery and if you feel that you will not be able to process the results or deal with less than perfection, you should not get one. It's truly as simple as that: if you are not stable enough to accept that the result might not be a perfect nose, do not get the surgery!

EVERY influencer is on a GLP

Well, almost every. I can't believe the number of posts I see about these influencers becoming sickly thin and comments are convinced it's just "natural" thinness, healthy eating, or over exercise.

It could be these things in part, but I can assure you, if you're rich, your appearance is a primary part of your "job", and you have even a decent connection, a GLP is not hard to get from your doctor. And already thin people are known to have the GLP be more effective at low doses -- meaning less of the nasty side effects while still getting the appetite suppression.

And of course they wouldn't be totally transparent about it, especially the already thin ones... imagine how much hate they would get. But it certainly wouldn't be "crazy" to assume they are -- it's literally a walk in the park to get a prescription for things if you have a relationship with your doctor. Not to mention online sources or compounded versions...

What would you call Cindy Kimberly's filler look?

I want EXACTLY this top lip. What can I ask for from an injector? It doesn't seem like she has very much filler at all, maybe MAX 0.5 in the top lip? And I guess it's put in vertically to lessen the impression of the philtrum but definitely does not look like a full on dramatic Russian lip.

Bringing Retatrutide to Korea Responsibly

I will be traveling to South Korea from the United States for three weeks and would like to confirm the requirements for bringing two prefilled syringes containing LY3437943, an investigational GLP-1/GIP/glucagon receptor agonist. The total amount is less than a one-month supply, solely for personal use.

How to achieve this top lip filler look?

I have a full bottom lip compared to my top. I don't want my bottom lip touched. I want more height in my top lip to shorten the distance between my mouth and nose. I specifically like these kinds of looks: what exactly is this called and where in Seoul would you recommend for it?
