Post spray advice

Hi everyone, bed bugs were found in my room and an exterminator has come out and done a spray. What are the tips for what to do next? All my things in drawers/on shelves are currently boxed up and outside, do people tend to unpack these things? My thought is if there are any bugs in there undetected they come back into the room when the spray is down and it kills them rather than in a couple weeks when I think the rooms ‘free’. I will be asking the exterminator but wanted to get more perspectives. He should also be coming back in a few weeks for a second spray and will need everything bagged up again but living in the UK I don’t think I can just leave everything out due to weather and foxes etc
