quiet floors

no hate at all, but whats the point of going to the quiet library floors if you're going to have a whispered conversation for the whole time? one convos fine but if you're just going to talk doesnt that defeat the purpose of going to the top 2 floors of marston??

lost presidential gold scholarship :(

hi everyone! i found out through checking my student aid portal this afternoon that i was not awarded my merit based scholarship at all. it got revoked due to me taking 2 hours under the credit requirement, and i honestly don't know what to do. i graduate in may of 2027, so i dont have more credits i can take while still being under the hour limit for my degree. i also could not have realistically graduated this semester, since i have a 2 semester long research project for my senior thesis that i have to spread out. when i was registering for this semester's courses, my advisor said it should be fine and to check with bright futures because that was the only thing she was unsure about. when i went to onestop to ask about it, the worker said that there was absolutely no way it could be reinstated for this semester, and to maybe try to petition for my graduating semester.

i'm so frustrated and i know this was my fault, i guess i could have asked earlier. does anyone have advice on dealing with something like this?
