So in the story I’m writing, my MC steals a body. Specifically, they have access to the key, unlock the door, and break open the coffin by force. From the outside, the mausoleum looks untouched as long as you don’t open the door.

Realistically, how would MC possibly get caught??

The cemetery didn’t have security measures and this feels like a really random crime. How much luck would police have if they investigated without any eyewitnesses??

(Asking for both realism and adding conflict to my story. I don’t want MC to exactly get away with this crime)

I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember and itching to finally do something with a story I’ve been sitting on. But I’m worried that my art doesn’t look good enough for it.
I’m not going for realism by any means, and I know deep down that I can do this. But I’m still weirdly REALLY fuckin’ insecure about trying to tell a serious story with my art style the way it is.
I dunno. Am I just overthinking the hell out of it??
