Green line issue on Pixel 7 pro
I would like to raise a complaint regarding the sudden appearance of a neon green vertical line on my Google Pixel 7 Pro display immediately after a recent software update. The issue was not caused by any physical damage, drop, or mishandling of the device and appears to be a software/update-related hardware defect reported by many Pixel users globally.
Despite explaining this to the service center, my concern was not acknowledged, and I was instead asked to pay approximately ₹19,000 for display replacement. It is extremely disappointing that Google has such poor customer service and rigid policies for an issue that appears to be caused by an official software update.
Several other smartphone brands provide far better customer support and goodwill solutions for similar widespread defects, whereas loyal Pixel users are being asked to bear the entire repair cost unfairly.
