newbie help
hey all, i’m 23, had a period since i was 9, but only ever used pads (therefore, pads are the only thing i’ve ever used). i’m not super adventurous when it comes to venturing out from what works, and I’ve never even used a tampon, never had an IUD - nothing. I currently just tried my first flex disc, I think I’ve had it in for like maybe 20 minutes at this point.
Because I’ve never put anything up me, especially when on a period (except perhaps my boyfriend) I’m really not sure what I’m supposed to expect. I can feel a slight pressure on what I’m assuming is my cervix, so there’s some mild uncomfortability but nothing that’s like crazy or painful. I’ve only found people either saying that they don’t feel a thing or they do and flex doesn’t work for them.
I’m trying to judge whether or not I put it in right with no reference. I was hoping if maybe some more experience gals on here could see what I’ve said, and tell me if this is normal to feel with a flex disc.
