I have the original fold and am thinking about installing GrapheneOS for two specific reasons.

1. To remove all the AI.

2. Customized launcher.

I don't mind Google, but do want a say in who gets my information. Currently, when I use a third-party launcher I still have to contend with the taskbar at the bottom. Does graphene remove the taskbar all together on a fold?

Does removing the AI have any downsides that I'm just not aware of?

How do I get past the Password verification times have reached the maximum limit issue? I've reset the password and still getting the error. Also, since this is affected by both the tablet and the android app, how do I make a backup of all my documents offline in case this happens again? Thanks

I’m trying to authenticate Reddit on the device. It uses Google to do this. When I attempt registering, it says that it can’t be authenticated. I’m assuming that it doesn’t have access to browser even though I have Chrome installed. How do I get through the authentication process? I did try signing in through the Chrome browser, but it didn't work. Tried using a passcode through email, but again it didn't work.

Not sure why it won't authenticate and would appreciate any suggestions. This isn't just Reddit, but any website I try to sign in using Google.
