College Cred - I need to interview an accountant/CPA
Exactly what it says in the title, haaa. I'm going back to school for my B.S. in Accounting, but 5 years as an accountant apparently doesn't exempt me from this course's requirement to interview other professionals to ensure this is the industry for me.
Super easy process. All I need to do is email/DM you a list of questions. Get a response. Then submit it to my professor. You can use your real name, or a fake name if you want (ie: Joseph Smith being Joe Smart). As long as I'm not reporting the questions from "depreciatedeeznuts90", I think I should be good.
Bonus points if you work in taxes, auditing, or a hospitality/tourism field. I may also need to do a second follow-up interview with one person, which I'll throw a Starbucks gift card at (if it's not against the subreddit's rules).

Before it gets asked -- "Why can't you ask your co-workers?" -- I worked at my last job for 4yrs and we had a mass layoff due to them implementing a new AI Accounting software. Lost ~80% of my close contacts, and I'm not keen on reaching out to those who stayed.
