Hey everyone!

My 4 year old beardie recently has had so much scale damage and it is really worrying me. I have a vet appointment the July 15th but I am wondering if anyone has any advice on what could be causing it and if I should be as concerned as I am. He also went to the vet a couple weeks ago and they didn’t seem concerned about the damage but I think it’s getting worse. For context he is in a 120 gallon tank with a 50/50 mix of play sand and reptile soil for his substrate. His enclosure also has rocks and wood to bask on. His also spends lots of time outside of the tank exploring. His behavior and habits also have not changed at all and he is full of energy as always. I am open to any and all advice :)

Hey everyone! This is my 4 year old beardies home! It’s 120 gallons and the substrate is a 50/50 mix of play sand and reptisoil. He has heat lamp for day and night (red light) , and a UVB tube light. He also has a dehumidifier since the northeast is HUMID. Im always looking for ways to give him the best life possible so feel free to let me know what I am doing well and what can be improved!
