For those who have had a bearded dragon with stress symptoms: How many days did it take for it to start eating again?

Update: The child only wants to eat poppies; he rejects vegetables and insects

Digging- Fun or Eggs?

Hi guys- my son was gifted a bearded dragon for his 9th birthday. We’ve had her for almost 3 weeks. She used to be used for breeding and is 2 years old.
She’s has had fairly normal behavior but the last 4-5 days or so she’s been puffy, panting, changing in beard color and now excessive digging. She’s being fed, lighting and heat is good. She’s never had an issue with water or food.
Is this egg laying? Or is normal 😅
We are using a substrate mix made at our local reptile store for beardies. There is about 2 inches worth and based on what I’m reading we need about 2 inches or so.

I thought he looked familiar...

I was hanging with my shedding dragon the other day and thought he reminded me of someone else..

What did my friend just pull out of his dragons hand

So his dragon had this huge lump on its hand that he discovered recently and apparently he had pulled this out of its hand with tweezers, it’s pretty big like maybe the size of a salted peanut.

What I was sent the other night

This is how my mother found him before feeding Wyvern the other night.
Please do not harass me about the enclosure or the substrate. Enclosure is planned to be replaced with a bigger one.

Rescue dragon

We just got this girl from a home that had to give her up. They said she’s a year to year and a half. Got her at Petsmart. She’s 16 inches. They also said they fed her every other day.

Aren’t they Supposed to eat every day?

Thoughts or advice?

First beardie but we have lots of other animals. 10% UVB and 100 baski n spot is setup

The love I feel for this creature.

Spike has become such a big part of my life. From an impulse buy at 16 to my actual child. I cannot imagine my life without this little troublemaker. He happily falls asleep on me, never squirms when I pick him up but squirms when someone that isn't me tries to. I've grown used to his weight on my chest to the point that it feels almost wrong without him on me. We watch Tv together, go on walks together, read outside on the patio together, go on car rides and visit my coworkers at work together. He's not just my pet, he's my companion.

Thank you to everyone over the years who has helped me improve his care and diet to give him the best life possible. He's absolutely thriving and i'm so happy to see him happy.

Moving advice?

I need to relocate approximately 6 hrs away. What is the best way to do this with my bearded dragon. I really don't want to have to leave her with my parents but have no idea how to keep her warm and not stress her out on the trip. Any suggestions are welcome!!

Pic of my girl for attention

Goodbye Beautiful Lady Drago n

two days ago, I lost my precious, beautiful female bearded dragon that I rescued from someone that abandoned them beyond their control. I got them as a pair, and they are totally adorable. The female very unusual with a very pale morph. She was like a pancake. I just found her passed away with no warning. The evening before she was on the bottom of the cage by her little tunnel and branch. The mail was on the branch with one of his feet on her head, and she looked like she had maybe an annoyed look. I figured if it bothered her, She’d move, so I didn’t open the cage and check her out. She had eaten earlier that day and had run around and seemed fine. when I checked her that morning, she was in kind of the same position, but with purple lips and I was very alarmed. It was pretty clear to me that she had passed, but I took her to the vet to make sure. I am very sad, I only had her since last October and I loved her very much. she is the dragon in the top part of the picture. They really seemed very much like a couple. And I think the Big Guy is a little bummed out.

Stressed breathing?

He won’t drink water via veggies, a dropper, misting, or soaking. He is a little dehydrated so I am trying to soak him one last time before his shedding skin becomes loose. Is his heavy breathing because he’s stressed? He doesn’t only do it in the bath, he does it occasionally in his tank too.
Humidity the last 2 days has been on the higher end, at 55-60 on those 2 days but it usually sits at around 45. I don’t hear any clicking or bubbling when he breathes. He does have a vet appointment already scheduled for just a regular physical.
