GECUs costumer service getting on my nerves.

Hello everyone,

I do not know if this is due to the recent upgrade they had or what, but their costumer service is a mess and is frustrating as hell.😭

I recently moved to a different city but decided to stick with GECU as they had not given me any issues or fees I had to pay. I told them in advance I would be moving to try to avoid any of the bs that happened.

I was shopping at a target for move in stuff when my card got declined twice. Which I found weird because I had the funds for the purchase and had already bought stuff in this new city. I get on the phone with them, and tell me why I get transferred 7 different times in the span of one and a half hours. Nobody could resolve a simple ass issue of a hold in my account due to apparently a “fraudulent vendor” aka target. After just being sent back and forth between different agents, none of them could do anything apparently. I was told I would receive a call in the next 2-3 business days and then they just hung up.

Has anyone had issues like this recently? Are they like this or is this just not my lucky day? Hadn’t had any issues like this with a bank until now.

First day of long distance (M24) with my partner (F25), advice welcomed

Hello everyone!

As the title says, it is my first time doing long distance. We have been together for 2 and a half years. But due to a really good opportunity, I (m24) decided to move while my partner (f25) is staying in our hometown as she recently got an opportunity to start her career there, and due to medical complications suffered last year, she was not cleared to travel until a couple months ago (hence the main reason we did not think about leaving together). We are several thousand miles apart with a 4 hour time zone difference. While not terrible it will for sure be something we will have to get used too.

I have lurked this sub for a while and have seen stuff like visiting each other half way or planning to eventually move together after x amount of years. While we started out Ldr yesterday and we also just started with our adult lives, many things are still up in the air. I am in high hopes and spirit, and would welcome every advice more seasoned people have to make this the best long distance relationship possible. Thanks in advance!

Where can I watch a world cup match that is not a bar

My liver can't take it anymore gang, I'm tired but I still want to see the remaining games.

Where else could I watch the world cup, such as a coffee place or an event.
