I'm a single mum on Centrelink and I am having a difficult time parenting my 8 kids due to me mental health.

$1.7k in Centrelink per week makes it difficult to survive.

I need ideas to ease my parenting load/ make more money.

So far I do

-McDonalds for breakfast -Begging on Facebook community pages for food etc under a new anonymous pseudo each time so it looks like a different person asking each time. -Getting my friends to harass my X"es to pay their child support. 3 are in jail so I am receiving fuck all. -Keeping them home from school as there's less washing that way.

Need ideas because I am struggling with life.

If the market slows down and a tonne of them run out of work and are forced to be laid off, what's a good job for them that fits their (perfect) personalities?

Right or wrong answers.

I'm on the Fraser Coast Qld. Very hot market the last few years.

I've only ever seen packed open homes the last couple of years at a distance (ones in the neighbourhood). Recently began seriously looking at a new home. 2 months ago I attended an open home of a basic 4 bedder. 5 separate groups/couples and showing under offer by Monday. Similar story with two other homes.

These last two months it's the absolute opposite. I'm the only one in the first open home. Houses still on the market weeks later.

Obviously an anecdote but it's interesting.

Side note I'd be keen to see where people can find the stats on the number of houses on the market per month and also how long they're staying on as I'm sure it'll paint a telling picture.

This is the part of parenting that no one talks about.

How it feels like you strike gold when you get that diagnosis. And finally everything makes sense.

Why he throws a fit when I feed him McDonalds but they serve him no ketchup for his nuggies.

Why he throws a fit because he's been on his iPad for 8 hours playing Candy Crush and the battery has run flat.

Why he throws a fit when he gets caught by the cops in GTA V.

My 4 year old is just a mere human too. He is one like you and me. Just a little different. This diagnosis confirms it.

Not to mention the added income from carer's payment. Yeww
