I'm looking forward to buying a vintage Tag diver from the 90s. One thing i noticed was that most models had both the mechanical and quartz versions. I know that Tag Heuer quartz divers helped save their brand in that era and appreciate it, but i'm just curious if the mechanical versions are superior to the quartz versions in any way. Would few hundred more bucks be worth it? Is there any differences in build quality, longevity etc.? I want to hear some thoughts on this.
