I did quite like it and it looks amazing for the time it came out , but I couldn't help compare it with Lawrence of Arabia. Which was shot in desert so it doesn't look 60 years old at all whereas Ben-hur uses massive built sets which is just brilliant but at first glance looked a bit aged.

But to his credit William Wyler basically revolutionized how Epic movies were made which later paved the way for movies like Lawrence of Arabia.

I have a complicated relationship with William Wyler movies, at first I don't like any of his movie as much but as the last act approaches I always find myself liking and understanding everything he wanted to portray on screen. His genius takes some time for you to understand.

Citizen vigilante is truly one of the worst movies I've seen. It not only have awful quality but also the logic contradicts itself when he's killing normal people. It's like a 10 year old wrote it and thought he was the greatest ever.

It's not only racist but islamophobic, I was just laughing at it till the end, but it really offended me like wtf do you mean it's islamic studies? How are you talking about something sacred that you don't know anything about.

The fact Elon musk loved this movie tells us who that idiot really is. A movie for idiots KKK white supremacists.

Third Man(1949) is of my Favourties. I like many other ones as well.

I think David Lean managed to capture the complexity of a man who was extra ordinary but lost in his own legend. Peter O'Toole does an amazing job capturing Lawerence and his love for arabia and changes he goes through while trying to free Arabs. Omar shareef was quite good too. It's a shame they both didn't win oscars that year.

Only issue I had was sometimes he would say he was done for with Arabia but would go back in just a minute without much of a thought going into the process and in the end French and English just kinda say yes in a instant to make Arabia free. Other then that it was quite amazing.
