Anyone pursuing BA (ODL/Distance) from SPPU? Need guidance!
I'm planning to pursue a BA through ODL (Open & Distance Learning) from SPPU.
- How is the overall experience with SPPU ODL?
- How are classes conducted? Are live lectures regular or mostly recorded/self-study?
- Is attendance compulsory?
- How are exams conducted? Are they difficult compared to regular BA?
- Are study materials sufficient, or do you need additional books/coaching?
- How responsive is the administration when you need help?
- How much self-study is realistically required each week?
- What is the assignment/project workload like?
- Are there any hidden costs apart from the tuition fee?
- If you could start again, would you still choose SPPU ODL? Why or why not?
- How long does it actually take to get marksheets and the final degree after exams?
- Does the student portal work reliably, or are there frequent technical issues?
- How often do the syllabus or exam patterns change?
- Is there an active WhatsApp or Telegram group for ODL students?
- How easy is it to get documents like bonafide certificates or migration certificates?
- Have you faced any issues while applying for government jobs, scholarships, or postgraduate admissions because of the ODL degree?
- What would you do differently if you were joining today?
