What do you do when you can't play squash?

Arts and crafts.

A frozen shoulder has made playing difficult. But I found a few old wooden racquets and spiffed them up for my kids' racquets club display.

I made one with the school letters too.

Not a poodle

We have had a lot of tree sap in the paws and on the face lately. So - poodle cut to solve the problem. It looks so odd! The usual cut is rustic.

Karen's mom made these

I cannot remember which episode Karen talked about her mom's holiday recipes. Today at a community book sale I found a copy of "The St Agnes Guild of Winnipeg Children's Hospital: 60th Anniversary Signature Recipes" 1970

Low and behold, the tasty Karen's mom's recipe that I've been copy-cat making for a few years is a real one that's been published.

Canapes

1/2 c mayo

1/2 c Parmesan cheese

2tbls grated onion (or onion powder to taste)

Mix into a slurry, spread on crackers or toast triangles. Broil until puffy and browned. Tell everyone to wait because these are hot! Watch as guests ignore this warning and burn the tops of their mouths.

Enjoy!
