Well, everyone’s doing it
King Air 200, nose gear chain broke and the nose gear wouldn’t extend. The pilot did an okay job holding the nose off as long as he could, but didn’t shut down the engines before landing. Two new props, two overhauled engines, and a bunch of sheet metal repair later, and she was off flying again about a year later!
