Located in 94545, Bay Area California.

We have 3 decommissioned industrial ESS / PCS cabinets from an energy storage testing environment.

Looks like Sinexcel modular PCS hardware with large reactors / industrial power electronics inside.

Not sure what these are worth in the secondary market, but they seem far too good to scrap.

Curious if anyone here has experience with this kind of industrial ESS hardware or knows whether these modules are useful for homelab, datacenter, teardown, or reuse projects.

Would rather see them reused than scrapped.

Decommissioned Sinexcel ESS / PCS cabinets – worth anything for DIY/microgrid projects?

I honestly don’t know the market value for these, but they seem too good to scrap.

Could be interesting for:

- DIY energy storage

- Microgrid projects

- Datacenter power experiments

- Reverse engineering

- Industrial teardown

- Spare parts / repair

Very heavy industrial equipment.

Probably best for someone experienced with high voltage / 3-phase systems.

Might sell whole cabinets or individual modules if there’s interest.

Just trying to see if anyone in the community would want these before they become e-waste.

Anyone familiar with OZPCS-RS40 / SineXcel commercial PCS systems?

https://preview.redd.it/7xjcqtf97zzg1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fde2f6f7577563958ad9266f2d6eda49aba328d5

I recently came across a commercial energy storage rack system including multiple OZPCS-RS40 PCS modules and a SineXcel unit.

Looks like commercial / industrial ESS equipment.

Trying to learn more about:

- value

- applications

- whether these are still useful for commercial or DIY projects

Located in California Bay Area.

Any information is appreciated.
