When to stop

Do you guys ever get to the point where you feel like you have enough? I feel like I still have a lot of things to get, but honestly, if I manage to go through what I do have I think I’d rather go if you know what I mean.

Nuclear War

How do much do guys actually prepare for nuclear war and what do you do? I live in Houston, and every video I see says that Houston would be a possible target. Personally, I don’t think I would want to be around for that, so why prep for it? At the same time, what if I don’t die and I need to figure out what to do? What are the basics I should have just in case?

Hi! Total newbie here. I’ve never planted anything, but I want to start growing veggies. I’m thinking of doing 2 or 3 raised beds. I’ve tried looking up videos on how to start gardening, but I feel like these people are speaking a language I don’t understand lol.

Some of the questions I have:

  1. Do I need to place cardboard at the bottom of my raised beds and then fill it up with soil?
  2. What can I plant in the next two days (5/2-5/3) that would have a good chance of thriving?
  3. I’m really only interested in veggies, but would planting flowers help my veggies grow?
  4. Is it too late for tomatoes or potatoes?
  5. What type of soil do I buy?
  6. Do I absolutely need fertilizer?
  7. Does it matter which seeds are planted in the same garden bed? How do I determine which seeds help each other grow?
  8. How much does shade matter? Specifically, the shade that my house provides as the sun moves throughout the day. I don’t have large tress or anything like that.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!!
