I'm looking to get Hive installed for my mum and it would be replacing an existing BG installed system from back in 2007.

Current setup is:
Boiler in external building
WR1 Wireless System (receiver in boiler room) with a Drayton Digistat thermostat mounted in hallway
Separate hot water controls (UT2) in the boiler room - at least it appears to be separate.
Not sure what is in the unmarked white box next to the WR1

Would a Hive install be suitable for this setup to replace the UT2 and WR1? If so single or dual channel (system boiler, not a combi). AI seems to indicate dual channel may be required along with a wiring mod.
