Are my roses doing okay?

I have no clue how to prune or upkeep these guys!
This is the first year they’ve been in, exactly one year since I’ve planted these bare root.

Diamond insecurity. Should I go bigger?

Okay so for reference, my boyfriend and I were out looking for a piece of jewelry to symbolize his want to propose. (We both want to get engaged/married really badly and we are both really excited but we are trying our hardest to do everything slowly. Buying a promise necklace or something was meant to temporarily satisfy us while we plan everything out, we are both type A and know we are getting engaged this year) While we were out looking, we just so happened to spot my dream ring/setting. Everything about this ring was perfect, and we kind of got swept up in the romance of finding my childhood dream ring, on sale, my size, in our favorite city. We bought it without doing any research, and it was our first hunt for any type of jewelry so we didn’t really know much other than the diamonds were pretty. Today, I was researching some information on diamonds because a friend got engaged and told me they bought the diamonds separate for cheaper. I called our jeweler and asked for a copy of the certificate, and found out each diamond is under a carat. (.75) and H-I and S|1 or s|2. I’m a little upset because I’ve realized we spent way more money than we wanted to in a promise ring, and we could’ve gotten larger diamonds for a better price if we knew we were engagement ring shopping (which is why we have been trying to take our time). My boyfriend said it was a lot cheaper than he was expecting to ever pay for an engagement ring but that it was more than he was looking to spend on a piece of promise jewelry, so we played around with maybe adding a diamond before the actual engagement. But toi et moi really is my dream. I’m having a hard time figuring out how to pitch to him that we instead buy different diamonds and get them placed on the existing band, and maybe have the ones we originally bought turned into a necklace. I feel like a brat and I’m not sure how to bring up that i feel like slightly bigger and more clear (F-D) diamonds are more “engagement ring”. We are under a year out from our engagement and I just don’t want to come across as spoiled. I know he just spent almost 2k on this ring, but I price shopped for the diamonds and it would be $619 to replace both diamonds with 2.10 carat diamonds. Help! How do I bring this up, is it even worth it?
Sorry for the long post, it’s just I’ve been wearing it and the more I look at it the more I feel like maybe it should be bigger. (His initial thought on how much a ring should cost was around 10k)
Sorry for the crazy long post!

My wedding band is just going to be solid gold no diamonds so I don’t think it’s that big of a deal?
Help 😭

Edit: I’ve decided that since I didn’t start to feel insecure until I compared with someone else and started learning about the diamond market, that this is silly. I have resolved to go back to the girl I was before digging into the whole valuation system thing, and value my ring based on the story and its meaning to us. Thank you all for the comments! Leaving this post up to help other ladies who might experience the same temporary worry.

“Mystery item” sucks

The sexy hair leaked all over everything and the tooth whitener is so useless to me. I should’ve just picked something from the category lol

Full garden situation

1st picture is a bed with a mystery pepper plants that’s struggling through summer and then three pumpkin seeds(one sprouting)
2nd is my cucumbers, and some zucchini that have stopped producing and I’m procrastinating removing, the small circle bed in the corner has watermelon seeds planted
3rd is my asparagus and more mystery pepper plants suffering through the heat
4th is herbs and carrots that I with randomly thin out as I need carrots for my cooking
5th is basil and my onions
6th is beans and watermelon or maybe cantaloupe seeds
7th is a bed that has a shishito pepper plant in it I think but my chiltepin tree/bush fell over in the last monsoon and I’ve yet to pick it up
8th is two beds full of pumpkins with an arched trellis overtop
9th is my berry section (ground cherry seeds have been planted in the bed with the bolted basil)

It’s definitely a little neglected but I think curving well enough for how hot it is!
This is my first year fattening and my garden was started in January, and I’ve already cycled out two eggplants (spider mites ) and had an extremely bountiful tomato harvest. I’m so excited for fall!
