Wishing A Long And Happy Retirement To Bass God Ian Hill

An imperious outing for Ian Hill. He has been a steady strong consistent stalwart at the back of the band holding down the spine of Priest.

I wish him all the best in his retirement and wish all the best of luck to Davey Rimmer of the legendary Uriah Heep our new bassist 🤘

What's your favourite song on the album?

For The Metal Gods Birthday I Visited The Church He Felt His Metal Epihiany

On an unusually delightful morning in Wolverhampton on my way to work I stopped for a moment to take in a very important building in early Priest history.

This is St Peters in Wolverhampton city centre and this is the church Rob felt a connection to a higher power.

Now over 50 years later he is that higher power. The Metal God.

Happy Birthday Rob ! 🎉

What a wholesome clip 🤘 Metal God greeting his disciples 🤘

I love the way he talks to people. It's like talking to your dad the way he gives out that genuine warmth and interest.

Cool Vinted Find For The Collection !

A controversial album to say the least but interestingly Rob himself has stated in his books this is the only Priest album he will go back and listen to in full.

A Couple Of Finds Today

Found a couple of vinyls today one being Point Of Entry in an antiques shop and Rob's most recent solo album. Also included with the POE vinyl was a cool old merch mail order form, kinda wish they still did those lol.

Bought in the town of Lichfield which is coincidentally where early Priest drummer John Hinch was from ! 🤘
