Regarding the Survey Results

I've compiled most of the data and organized it (my old uni turned off my SPSS license so I'm having to do a fair amount of this the slow way). At this point I'm a couple of pages into the writeup and going through the open-ended responses. You guys have a lot to say about things lol.

I don't have a specific timeframe since I have work, streams, etc.; but I'll probably be working on this over the weekend to try to get it out. I'm trying to put as many sources and such together as I can to make this as legit as possible, so I'm trying not to rush it too much.

Shyvana Player Experience Survey

Hey everyone, last call for responses to the survey as I'll be closing it down and starting to compile the results toward the end of this week.

Thank you again to everyone who took time to complete the survey. It's been great being able to chat with everyone and really interact with the community for the past few weeks. I'll do my best to get the data compiled as best as I can while not bogged down at work.

Reminder: Shyvana Player Satisfaction Survey

Good afternoon everyone!

To keep things from getting spammy, I'm limiting the amount of reminders I'm putting out; but for those who haven't heard, there's a player satisfaction survey currently open regarding gauging current community sentiment around the rework since it's around a half-year old now.

So, if you haven't taken the survey yet, I'd recommend to give it a few minutes, maybe even pass it along to people you know who would be interested! This is for players of all skill levels and opinions on the rework, since we want as holistic of a dataset as we can.

As of the last time I checked, we have a surprisingly diverse set of answers, so the data is actually getting pretty interesting to keep an eye on. Looking forward to seeing more as responses come in!

Shyvana Player Experience Survey

Hello everyone!

As we all know, we are around one week away from being six months out from Shyvana's rework release. With that rework, many things changed about her - some for the better, others for not so much. One thing that has been consistent throughout though is that Riot either does not seem to be highly motivated to or does not have a solid vision for making the best version of our beloved half-dragon that befits a champion that had such an anticipated and long-awaited rework. This is fairly evident by the responses that we've received from several Rioters since then and during her 2 week stint in the PBE, including but not limited to August, Endstep, Yelough, and others.

The question becomes then: "If Riot doesn't have a solid vision for the champion, who will?" I believe that falls upon the community to provide feedback about what does and doesn't feel good about her, so they at least have a starting point and list of priorities should they look to change anything about her.

My name is Qorani and I am an experienced researcher in the social sciences. In collaboration with both of the Shyvana subreddits' moderation teams as well as some independent content creators, we've put together a comprehensive survey to gauge community sentiment on the current state of Shyvana - which parts of her kit feel good to play, which don't, etc. Additionally, this survey addresses parts of her kit that people are interested in gaining power - as well as those where potential trade-offs would be accepted to maintain her power budget since she's currently in a good place, winrate-wise (see the recent Endstep video regarding needing to give up something in exchange for QoL on R). The end goal would be to have a comprehensive set of data that might provide Riot with insight on what we might like to see changed (if any), and what we want to stay the same.

To note, this survey provides options for those who are experienced as well as new to the champion, and additionally those who may not want to see any changes as well as those. The point of this is to gain a holistic view of community sentiment, not just those who feel that she does need to be changed. The goal is to leave the survey open for at least one month to gain a good sample size; and then when we have a reasonable amount of responses we'll close it up and compile the data from them.

Additionally, no personal identifying information will be taken in this survey. There are no risks involved with taking it, and you may withdraw your answers at any time. If you have any questions or concerns, I'll do my best to address them in the comments.
